Our Story
Mostly walking tours of Brooklyn (plus Lower East Side in Manhattan and Long Island City, Sunnyside, and Jackson Heights in Queens), usually with the assistance of public transportation, but tours by vehicle (car, van, bus) are fine. Public tours are offered infrequently; private tours may be booked all year. See website (www.nylikeanative.com) for details and contact. Most popular tours include Brooklyn 101 (introduction to highlights, including Park Slope, Prospect Park, Downtown Brooklyn, and Brooklyn Heights), and Williamsburg (hipsters, Hasids, and more). But don't forget Greenpoint, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Crown Heights, Victorian Flatbush/Ditmas Park, Sunset Park, Coney Island (and Brighton Beach), and the Dyker Heights Christmas Lights. Also Queens (Long Island City) and the Lower East Side of Manhattan. (Photo is Halloween in Prospect Park South.) Experienced guide, personal service.
