I was missing yeast of all things so watched instead of baked but how amazing the artist of Modern Bread and Bagel and Thyme and Tonic showed us how to baked Babka. Lots of steps.; Makes me appreciate just buying it. 😃

Reason No 1 why I excluded restaurants that cater to gluten free in a shared kitchen on my app.

I won’t name and shame this establishment in Orange County New York but I saw their Juice list looked to have only gluten free ingredients. I am always looking for a breakfast place to go with my hubby where I can have something. I still would never chance a shared kitchen but a juice menu that appeared to have only GF ingredients I think that would work.

Well today I went in and asked, did they know if all ingredients in their juices were Gluten Free, the server responded I don’t know, let me check, I see her walk over to the other 4 servers behind the other counter and then decide to ignore me.

As other customers order and leave I ask for help again, then from the other side of the restaurant I am told, the ingredients are what they are.

At that point I just left.

I was going to order a coffee as a back up but clearly they were annoyed by the Gluten Free question. They really should not advertise gluten free on their front window if servers are unwilling to help validate that.

Studying for this exam was fun, I did my Real Estate license directly after, have to say not as much fun 😂 but NYU did provide all the content, the exam for Sightseeing license was spread out amongst many books and you had to learn the old answers to get some questions correct, like how many passengers use Grand Central daily but once you know just repeat what is in the books they recommend.
