One of the venues I talk about on the East Village Venues Tour is Club 82, a much lesser known but equally as important as CBGB's venue. One of the artists I mention is Wayne/Jayne County .. yesterday while perusing a "Max's Kansas City Group" someone posted this video taken by Ivan Kral (Patti Smith's guitar player, formerly of Blondie) .. the East Village in the 70's was one big happy Rock N Roll family (sort of)!

Last night the Guides Association of New York had a most unique guest speaker, Patrick Bringley, a former guard at the Metropolitan Museum of Art who has written a book on "behind the scenes" and in front of the paintings at the Met which will be released by Simon and Schuster on 2/14/23 .. a very fun talk, very fun stories and I'm looking forward to the book .. given I live down the block from The Met I really should spend more time there!
