A fairytale surprise wedding in Central Park. It's not easy to pull off a surprise for the bride. But that's what happened on Saturday. She already had this gorgeous dress and they had their marriage license. She was pressuring the groom for a date but he was making another plan. And inviting family to meet at Shakespeare's garden this past Saturday. He got the bride there with the photographers saying that she was having a special photo shoot. And had hired me to be there as well. Of course she said yes and was very excited to be married at noon in this gorgeous setting. The crocuses beginning to show their faces. And of course a small crowd gathered to congratulate them on this gorgeous day In Central Park.

Susan worked with us to find the right balance to ensure our ceremony reflected our beliefs. She took the time to get to know us and created a personalized ceremony that was not only memorable and special for us but also meaningful and engaging to our guests. Day two of our anniversary weekend at greenwood lake.

A heavenly beginning with my own private yoga class on the lake deck over looking the water and hills. ( I taught myself if course) So peaceful. Just a few kayakers paddling by.
Followed by tea on the deck with my toes in the lake. More heaven. I like lake life.
Yummy breakfast on the porch of Murphy's in the small town of greenwood lake. And an after breakfast hike on the AT. Beautiful views.
A Short shopping trip in near by Palm Island. With a great lunch in Warwick and feeding the chickens and goats. I love all animals so that was a real treat for me. Now we are at the town beach relaxing , reading and napping.

My anniversary weekend trip. We did a slow ride to Greenwood Lake. Stopping for a walk in Ramapo State Park and by the dam and reservoir. We both love water views and the mountains so we're having such fun exploring so many new places and sites. Had dinner overlooking the lake, coffee in the sweet town of Warwick and now at the famous Warwick drive in movie. Not the usual Friday night.

Congrats to Michelle And Derrick. An amazing couple married Friday in Tarrytown NY. Can't wait for photos of your log saw. Stay tuned. This was a new marriage ritual that I had never seen. Stemming from the German tradition for weddings the couple sawed a log in half each holding one end of the saw as their first act as a married couple.
