On our food tours, our licensed NYC tour guides take a group through a neighborhood giving historical and a culinary background to the city and

specific neighborhoods while tasting some of the best local sweets. Our tours are special because we are dedicated to serving the sweet-tooth in everyone! We seek to provide the best customer experience through high quality tastings, superior customer service, and friendly and informed tour guides.

After 10 years of introducing our customers to the sweeter side of New York City, we have decided to focus on other endeavors and close this sweet chapter of our lives.

We are excited to share that Like a Local Tours has acquired Sugartooth Tours' dessert tours. Like a Local Tours shares our outlook on the importance of supporting local food artisans, exploring new cities, and the value of experiencing culture and history through food. Beginning Memorial Day Weekend 2023, Like a Local Tours will begin offering some of our favorite dessert tours including our signature Hell's Kitchen Tour and popular Chelsea & West Village Tour.

Sugartooth Tours has been offering walking dessert food tours in New York City since 2012. We aim to get off the beaten path and introduce our guests to some of the best bakeries in the city that even some locals may not know of. Licensed NYC tour guides lead you through the streets of the Big Apple, combining culinary and cultural history with some of the best desserts and sweets in the city. It is our goal to connect consumers with local food artisans and create meaningful relationships through our food community.

We offer several year round dessert tours in different neighborhoods like Hell’s Kitchen and the West Village. We even offer a Broadway dessert tour that combines iconic New York City desserts with the history of theatre in New York. If you are an ice cream fan then you will love our Ice Cream Summer Sundays Frozen Treats Tour that runs every Sunday June-September and features some the best cool treats in the city like ice cream cookie sandwiches, mini milk shakes, unique ice cream flavors, fruit pops and more. We also offer custom private tours that can be tailored to fit your dessert cravings. We hope that you’ll join us on a tour soon!
