A Hawaiian “haku” is a flower head lei reserved for special occasions like luaus, graduation, weddings and ceremonies. It was an honor for our advisors to learn the process and show off their creations during their stay at Turtle Bay!

History, but make it ✨fun✨ There’s nothing worse than getting stuck on a boring history tour on a precious vacation day. Our walking tour of with was anything but boring! Lemon Grove “La Malora” in Gargnano. Our advisors took a tour of this 16th century lemon garden and got to taste homemade limoncello then strolled the citrus-lined streets of Gargnano 🍋

The Xochimilco canals in Mexico City are mysterious and magical at the same time! Our Embarkers departed from the before sunrise and had the water to themselves. The gondola guided them to a chinampa or “floating island” where they learned about the plants grown in the region followed by a breakfast in the garden.

This is a popular activity for tourists and locals alike, make sure it’s part of your itinerary ahead of time for a memorable day trip 🇲🇽

We love a Caribbean island with culture! Even though Canouan is a small island (less than 5 square miles) there’s plenty to see and walk to in town. The locals will be happy to guide you to the best bars or a place to try fried jackfish for lunch!

You may have been to the Caribbean, but chances are you haven’t been here! Canouan Island in part of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and is one of those “off the map” destinations you can only dream of finding in 2024.

Our Embark team ventured down to explore the island and were blown away by the stunning waters, laidback town and endless adventures available. We hiked, snorkeled, biked, and even learned how to husk coconuts.
