Six Flags Great Adventure will be open, but they will close at 7pm for the next three days (8/7, 8/8, 8/9). Therefore, buses will leave the park at 730pm instead of 815pm on all three days. The rain is expected to occur without lightning and thunder, which means that the park will stay open the entire time.

Rainy days are an opportunity to enjoy Great Adventure in less crowded conditions. You will have shorter lines and the ability to ride more rides than normal. Bring your rain jacket with you and have some fun!

8/4/24 bus from NYC to Great Adventure

Our September, October, and early November schedules for Six Flags Great Adventure will reflect the new schedule for Fright Fest and other events. Fright Fest is going to happen at night while normal park operations are going to happen in the daytime. All Great Adventure customers will travel together on Thursdays and Fridays and the bus will leave 30 minutes after the park closes. On Saturdays and Sundays, one bus will leave at 930am for a regular park day and the other bus will leave at 3pm for Fright Fest.

Although the normal park days will be shorter, it will also be less crowded. You will probably be able to ride a similar number of rides despite having less time in the park. Please note that you will have to have a daytime admission ticket plus a Fright Fest ticket to spend both day and night sessions in the park.

If you don't have a season pass as yet, it might be worth the investment.

(1) We will begin referring to the "Beach Haven Crest" location as "Long Beach". It is located at the Long Beach Post Office and it will be less confusing to customers not local to the area.

It looks like a cyberattack has started on key systems operated by Microsoft today (7/19). It has not affected any of our computer systems as yet, but we are monitoring the situation. In the meantime, if you have any issues using our booking engine, please let us know ASAP.

Our boarding priority at the Port Authority Bus Terminal is as follows:
- Online tickets bought in advance
- Online tickets bought at the bus stop
- Cash walkups at the departure time

We accept cash at the departure time as long as space is available, but buying online guarantees you a seat.
