Join us for the 90th Annual Newark St. Patrick’s Day Parade, featuring its 12th Annual High School Marching Band Competition! 🥁🎶

Top bands from across New Jersey will bring energy plus music, and Irish spirit to the streets of Newark on Friday, March 14, 2025.

Step-off is at 1 PM at Mulberry & Market Streets. Bands will compete for top honors, judged by USBands experts, with awards presented at Central Ave. & Halsey St.

Polish heavyweight boxing is BACK at the Prudential Center for the first time in over a decade! 🇵🇱

Witness a thrilling all-Polish showdown as Damian Knyba (14-0, 8 KOs) takes on seasoned veteran Andrzej Wawrzyk (34-4, 20 KOs) in a ten-round clash on Saturday, February 1.

This night of powerhouse action honors the legacy of Tomasz Adamek, who electrified Prudential Center nine times. Now it’s time for Knyba and Wawrzyk to write a new chapter.

Happy ! Did you know that was one of the last places that Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. visited before his death in 1968? He passed away just 8 days later.

While in Newark he visited the Mount Calvary Baptist Church, the Colonnade Apartments, had lunch with members of the Greater Newark Chamber of Commerce, and made a 20-minute speech before 1,200 students at South Side High School. In fact, it was the final time he would speak before students.

Extending a heartfelt thank you to our amazing partners, Melodious One and the University Hospital Staff. Through Our Hope For The Holidays event, gifts were donated to 369 children, whose ages range from newborn to seventeen. 🙏🏾
