You don't HAVE to tip anyone. You SHOULD tip any assistants or anyone who is not there as a business owner ... What's a great tip for a business owner? Give them an outstanding review on social media!!! Check your contracts, gratuity may already be included, and don't tip until the end of the night.

Is the day about her? Tell her you love her, and you expect that she'll behave like the adult you know she is understanding the day is about YOUR (and your hubby's) happiness and you shouldn't be concerned with anything else. That "should" make her open her eyes ... good luck!!

ok another one Wow going to start an advice column... How do you address a guest who will not eat any of the options? You can call the venue and ask if there are any exceptions to your choices, without additional charge. OR you can let your guest know that you would love to be able to accommodate their dietary restrictions, but you feel it would be best if they contacted the venue directly and asked that they do so so there is no misunderstanding, and again within your agreed upon pricing.

I feel like Dear Abby lately... ok here is the deal with the plus 1...
1. Are you on a budget? No? Then everyone gets a +1 and strangers are at your wedding
2. OR you could reasonably say "people who live together or have been together for X years" and you put BOTH names on the invitation
NOW...if you're that person and your significant other isn't invited, don't put the couple in a bad spot. Remember this day is about them, not you. Either go alone, or rsvp no (don't be salty) and send a small gift.
