When I was in Lima I had many exquisite meals. But a restaurant wasn’t where I had my most memorable meal. It was in the home of local chef

She took us along on her morning market run, including a stop at her local fish monger. When we had all the necessary ingredients we went to her home, where we prepared traditional dishes together and shared a few before it was time to indulge. It was as if we were old friends who managed to pop by at exactly the right time.

Just booked! ❄️🏔

Our clients wanted to get away somewhere with mountains and snow. They didn’t want to ski or snowboard but wanted plenty of activities. Hmmm… 💭
⠀
Challenge accepted! We put together a great itinerary through which included:
⠀
* Private cooking class using local ingredients
* Dog sledding
* Art class
* Massages
* Private yoga classes
⠀
We still made sure they had plenty of time to relax and be cozy. 🥰
⠀
We prebooked all dinner reservations and arranged a private driver to be at their disposal so they don’t have to think about a thing. ✅

Lima on my mind 💭💕

One of the most underrated cities in . Most people only plan a night or two here as a stopover before heading into or out of the country. But they are sleeping on a true gem! 💎
⠀
Lima is a destination in its own right, and I would say you need at least 3 nights to experience all the wonderful things it has to offer. But you could easily spend a week here and never get bored.

The food is some of the best in the world. But Lima is also full of street art, galleries, and markets. It’s beyond charming! 🍽🖼🌿🌵

With Lima’s rich history, art, and endless gastronomic experiences it’s a destination not to be missed!

One night in 🇫🇷

We just returned from a trip through . Our purpose was to see small boutique hotels, or in this case , with amazing gastronomic restaurants. We drove to each destination through the French countryside, which we highly recommend!

We started our journey in the city of love. 💖Usually, we like to start in the big city to get acquainted and hit some tourist spots, and then escape the hustle and bustle to relax.
⠀
Our first property was This beautiful hotel is in the 1st Arrondissment, remarkably located to visit many of the cities major sites. It has a different feel than the “landmark hotels” in Paris. It’s small, quiet, and cozy without compromising on luxury. They have a Michelin star restaurant Le Baudelaire, where we had the best dessert of our lives. 🍰😍

We just got back from a trip to Europe and it was a little bumpy. 🛫
⠀
I’m sure you’ve heard of all the flights getting cancelled recently. This happened to us several times while traveling, which resulted in a few missed connections and then alternate flights being full. At times it was frustrating, but thank goodness we know how to navigate the interruptions and any potential crisis was averted. 🙌

Now is the time you need someone in your corner. Trust us, dealing with drama at the airport yourself is not recommended! 🤦‍♀️

Currently all Americans arriving into the US from an international destination must provide a negative COVID result 3 days prior to entry. 🇺🇸🦠
⠀
However, new requirements are being discussed for unvaccinated Americans. These include:
⠀
▪️ Getting tested within 24 hours of boarding their flight to the U.S.
▪️ Required to test again after their arrival. For the post-entry test, Americans who are not vaccinated will need to provide “proof they have purchased a viral test to be taken after arrival”

The CDC has not yet officially changed the entry requirements, but they are expected to in the coming months. ⏱💉

It’s true! Check your passport friends! 👀

The State Department is warning that issuing of routine passports are taking up to 18 weeks and expedited services are taking up to 12 weeks 😧

There are certain private companies with faster wait times but even they are taking up to 2 weeks 🛂

The bottom line is not to chance it right now! If you are planning on traveling internationally, check your passport! ⚠️‼️

Did you hear the news? 🚨🚨

Italy will soon require people to have passes reflecting their health status to access gyms, museums, movie theaters, and the inside of restaurants. 🛂✅

As of August 6 individuals must prove they have received at least one vaccine dose in the last nine months, recovered from COVID-19 in the last six months, or tested negative in the previous 48 hours to access these venues. 💉

It’s no secret that Bora Bora is one of our favorite destinations (definitely a bucket list trip!). The water really is that amazing 🤩 💙🌊

We love the The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort] because it has an on-site Lagoonarium with tropical fish and coral that guests can access at their leisure. They also have some of the largest overwater villas in the South Pacific. 🐠🐢🌴🐚

Our clients loved it so much they wanted to stay an extra 3 days! 🎉

When traveling to this part of the world, flights arrive early in the morning. Our clients got to the resort at 9 am but because of our connections they were able to check-in upon arrival. ✈️🛎🥂

France has officially reopened for Americans 🇫🇷

On June 18 the country reopened to all US tourists regardless of vaccination status. 👏🎉🍾
⠀
Vaccinated Americans will have to provide proof of vaccination and unvaccinated tourists will have to show a negative PCR test 72 hrs prior to departure ✅

There are still some in country restrictions to note 📝
⠀
⭐️ Curfew has shifted from 9pm to 11pm
⠀
⭐️ Masks are still required in all public places (even outside) regardless of vaccination status
⠀
⭐️ Nightclubs remain closed until further notice
⠀

“American Airlines is now proactively cancelling about 1% of it’s scheduled flights each day through the middle of July” ⚠️

Have you ever been at the airport ready to start your vacation only to get the news that your flight has been cancelled or delayed by several hours? It’s the worst and can throw off your whole trip! 🙃😩

What do you do next? 😅

* If you’re at the airport you’ll have to wait in line for an agent to rebook you
⠀
* If it’s a scheduled cancellation you’ll have to sit on hold to speak with someone at the airlines. (Which could take hours!)

* Double check that they’ve rebooked you to your final destination (because they don’t always do)
⠀
* Inform your hotel or accommodations that you’ll be arriving later than expected
⠀

When you book airline tickets do you look for the cheapest fare? Saving money is great but usually the cheapest option is not the best one. ✈️💰

The cheapest fares often don’t include baggage or seats and are non-refundable and non-changeable. ⚠️❌
