Greetings from Peter and Holly! Covid of course has stopped our wine-tourism business stone cold, but luckily we were able to get back to our little place here in north-west France, with fresh air around us and plenty of things to keep us busy. As many of you know, we had planned to convert our 200 year old stable into a brewery this summer. With everything that is happening in the world, and our abrupt stop of income flow (we are in the travel industry), our finances to complete the renovation has slowed. We have decided to go ahead with a funding program to help us move forward on schedule (t is more of a pre-sale event than a fundraiser).We have hats, t-shirts and of course beer! We are also offering the opportunity to stay in our B&B do some serious eating and drinking as well as partaking in a brew class. So if you are inclined, please check it out! We understand that many people may be unable to participate, however, we would appreciate you sharing our project far and wide to help us get the word out! From late August through early November, wine grapes are being picked, sorted, fermented and made into wine, all over the Northern Hemisphere. Is this a good time to visit your favorite winery? Well, that depends… There are some places and people you definitely should not visit during this busy period - very small properties, especially if they’re famous, will likely close their doors for several weeks as all hands are on deck getting the job done. Heading back "home" to good old England tommorw, for our inaugral UK wine tour! Just goes to show that weather doesn't make any difference when you're down in a cellar tasting delicious wines ;)
Excited to get to see the award-winning sparkling wines of Sussex and Kent. Stay tuned for reports on what we find!

Last year we hosted our inaugral wine tour (cruise) in Croatia, started planning for Greece where there are great wines being made. 2017 starts off with another first, Sparkling Wine in England! The UK has found it's place in the wine world with award-winning sparklers, and with the strong US$ this is the time for our American guests to make that trip over the pond - the beer's not all bad either!

Last day in our exploratory tour of Santorini, included a visit to the new (still in construction) and truly excting winery of Hatzidakis Winery-Οινοποιείο Χατζηδάκη. The essence of this amazing island's terroir in this talented guy's wines!
