Our first time traveling with Gizmo & Stormy! 🐶

Such an underrated & beautiful destination. We stayed in a cozy lakeside cabin that had this rowboat that we took out on a small lake. I loved Michigan because there was no humidity, no crowds, & 70 degrees weather in July. Highly recommend & we will return someday!

Two years ago we had just received our orders for Oahu! My husband was away at military training & I was ending my first year of teaching. The journey from Ohio > Oahu started with packing boxes. 📦

I had to pack up an entire house in Ohio, sell the house, sell the truck, put our items into storage, move in with my parents, plan a road-trip from Ohio > California, complete the FAVN paperwork for our dogs, take the road-trip…

& finally - FLY ON A PET JET TO HAWAII! ✔️

I felt excited, anxious, stressed, nervous, overwhelmed, etc. I’ve been in the exact shoes of our clients. I have felt the heavy weight of moving on my shoulders. There were tears, sleepless nights, and beyond busy days. But…

Honey took so much stress away from my move when she organized me joining a shared flight to Hawaii with my dogs. My greatest worry became one of the most simple parts of the move/PCS.

Now - I’m here to work with Honey at Pet Jets, Inc. to accomplish the same goal for other families. This is my passion because I have lived it myself.

When you pay our retainer we see that as a commitment to working with Made To Jetset Inc. to complete your project - we ask that you trust our process and stay committed so we can accomplish your family's moving/travel goals. Once we have determined what services our client needs then we will send an invoice for our retainer. Social media can be so deceptive.

The photo: Gizmo posing perfectly while boating in Northern Michigan. 🐶

The reality: Gizmo threw up all over the rental boat after eating trash from our 4th of July party so we had to dock the boat, but cleaning supplies, & scrub the carpet. 😨

I love beautiful photos of my life - landscapes that don’t even look real here in Hawaii, my pups posing while I entice them with cheese, and me dressing up for enjoying waterfront dinners out on Oahu. But let’s be honest…

Beautiful photos don’t tell the whole story. Life IS BEAUTIFUL, but it is not perfect. Social media shows posed snapshots of our lives - like when I wear my best outfit, have an ocean view in the background, & took the time to put make-up on.

Social media is the highlight reel. No matter how authentic people claim to be - social media will always be a curated view of someone.

When you find yourself comparing your REAL life to someone’s highlight reel they post online just remember that their life doesn’t look like that 99% of the time.

Enjoy Gizmo’s adorable photo knowing the moment wasn’t that enjoyable. 😂

Throwback to my own journey that started it all. In July of 2022 - I packed up my little car in Ohio and drove over 2,000 miles to hop on a Pet Jet in California. Then I flew on a shared private jet charter to Hawaii - put together by Honey Jimenez Schmidt ✈️

Gizmo & Stormy got to stay in a hotel overlooking the Gateway Arch, hiked a trail in Zion National Park, & ate many orders of Chick-Fil-A grilled nuggets in various states. We saw the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, drove through Arches National Park, & enjoyed sunset views in California. The journey was long, but it was a once in a lifetime experience that I’ll always remember.

Moving from Ohio to Oahu was one of the craziest things I’ve ever done. I’m beyond thankful for Honey & Pet Jets - I didn’t have to carry the stress of a 4,000 mile move alone. Honey took on my greatest worry from me - flying my dogs from the mainland to Hawaii. They flew by my side in cabin!

It’s time to get back to the grind after an amazing weekend here in Hawaii. ☀️

Walker enjoyed tasting fresh pineapple & papaya, naps on the beach, & feeling the water on his toes. We ended with a beautiful sunset over Waimea Bay. 🌊

This weekend really reminded me how blessed we are to experience living in paradise! 🙏🏼
