UPDATE: I spoke with local resident KC Emery who stated that the car "lunged forward to charge the battery and it went over the wood block and was dangling off the ferry." She received this information from other locals who witnessed the event.

The ferry was out of service for about an hour while everyone waited for a tow truck to arrive to pull the car back on the ferry.

A few more weeks here in Seattle and then its time to move back to Bellingham for a trip to the ship yard and head North again for an exciting summer. We still have a couple of prime weeks in July open and late August for the Coho runs.

All the work is done and we have moved to downtown Seattle for the winter. "Alaska girl gone to the big City".

Getting some work done in Bellingham. Remodeling the forward stateroom and some paint touch up before going to town in Seattle for a nice warm winter slip . We are taking reservations for next year with Buddy and crew so let us know what your plans are.

Back home in Bellingham for some work, then off to Seattle to spend the winter. Great summer and thanks to all of our guests. We hope you had as much fun this summer as we did!
