We recently enjoyed a beautiful sunset with a beach bonfire, and spent a day walking along the beach several miles. We saw some beautiful sites!

Exploring Holiday Beach and the Historic Bayfront in Newport. The sea lions are always worth stopping to see! They pile up on each other and fight for their spot, barking at anyone new who tries to pop up on their pile. 🤣 We have some openings the last week of April (that weekend too!) and several open days in May! Holiday Beach and all of Newport has so much to offer! Incredible beach walks, agates to find, a toasty beach fire to stay warm next to, waves to chase- or run from (our dog especially loves this, and sometimes our kids do too- if they are willing to brave the cold water!), and listening to the sounds of the sea. The winter and early spring months show off the bedrock beneath the sand along the Oregon Coast. Sometimes it exposes rock beds that are full of agates- and so much fun to search through. Soon enough, the sand will be back to cover these treasures up for the summer and fall months.

Stroll along one of the many public beaches, find sea life in tide pools or along jetty walls, see one or both of the lighthouses, explore the shops and restaurants along the Historic Bayfront, see the sea lions, visit one of the brewery’s, go to the aquarium!
