This January weather in Newport has been incredible! This week looks like another beautiful one! I love how the winter season brings up new rock beds and agates to find, the crisp clear air that makes sunsets look extra glorious, and more low tides exposing the tide pools to explore. The Newport Seafood and Wine festival is coming soon! February 20-23, 2025. It's such a fun weekend with awesome food and wine vendors! Come stay at the cabin for a couple nights and enjoy a festival day while you're there!

Discovered a fresh newly exposed rock bed, scored some rad agates, got a surprise gorgeous day with no wind, and even found a "mermaids purse" washed up on the shore. The weather forecast looks to be great all week! A nice break from all the rain we've been having!

We recently enjoyed a beautiful sunset with a beach bonfire, and spent a day walking along the beach several miles. We saw some beautiful sites!

Exploring Holiday Beach and the Historic Bayfront in Newport. The sea lions are always worth stopping to see! They pile up on each other and fight for their spot, barking at anyone new who tries to pop up on their pile. 🤣 We have some openings the last week of April (that weekend too!) and several open days in May!
