HUMMINGBIRD | The Swan 90 Hummingbird made a remarkable debut at the St. Barths Bucket this summer, with the Doyle-powered team securing first place in the Les Petites Dames division.

Building on their success, the team recently achieved a strong second-place finish in the Maxi division at the 2024 Rolex Swan Cup and is now poised for their next challenge.

VIJONARA | The St. Barths Bucket is a breathtaking yachting spectacle, bringing together some of the world’s most stunning superyachts in the turquoise waters of this Caribbean island for close and competitive racing.

The Truly Classic 128, VIJONARA, a Hoek-designed sloop delivered in 2018, won the Sailing Yacht (30m to 59.9m) category at the 2019 World Superyacht Awards. Since then, she has sailed and raced across the globe, continuing her success in 2025 by winning the St. Barths Bucket Wolter Huisman Memorial Trophy for Spirit of the Bucket and securing the overall victory in the L’Esprit division.

GITANA | The Doyle-powered superyacht Gitana was built for big-boat racing. Originally launched as Salperton IV by Fitzroy Yachts in 2009, she quickly gained recognition on the race circuit.

In 2025, she competed in the St. Barths Bucket for the second time under the name Gitana. Designed by Dubois, the 45-metre sloop excels in wind conditions of 18 to 25 knots—conditions that, unfortunately, were not met this year.

Despite this, Gitana’s owner was honored with the 2025 St. Barths Bucket Owner-Driver award, presented by the Yacht Club de Monaco.

HATARI | The first ClubSwan 50 warm-up event was held in Badalona, north of Barcelona on the Mediterranean over the weekend. Sunshine-filled perfect spring days saw the fleet link up for the first time since October. Doyle-powered teams were looking sharp, with Hatari taking home the first bragging rights for the season.

DOYLE-POWERED DUNCAN | Peter Duncan's team onboard J/70 Relative Obscurity earned their third consecutive win this season.

After 7 races in heavy air, the Doyle-powered team came out on top of the fleet of 50 boats. The 2025 J/70 Midwinter Championship wrapped up on Sunday, with Duncan's team showcasing dominant form.
Getting the band back together for the 2025 season has proved powerful; they have now claimed victory at all three of their Miami events. The team—with tactician Victor Diaz de Leon, Jud Smith, and Willem Van Waay—last raced together when they won the 2017 J/70 World Championship in Porto Cervo.

FULL PODIUM FOR DOYLE POWERED 52s | The AUS52 fleet continued their series racing this weekend, with Doyle-powered teams sweeping the podium. Gordon Ketelbey’s Zen joined the Australian 52 fleet for the weekend as part of their Admiral’s Cup preparations. A total of nine teams competed on the water for Act 2 of the Pallas Capital Gold Cup, hosted by Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club during Sailfest Newcastle.

Doyle Sails Sydney owner Shane Guanaria was sharing the driving with Gordon onboard Zen, "The team were in a holding pattern while we were waiting for a ship to take the Zen to the UK, so it was a last-minute decision to race this weekend, but we pulled our Admirals Cup team together including Tom Addis and Chris Nicholson, along with Doyle Sails expert Justin Ferris. It was awesome to see everyone on the water for the weekend pushing hard with over half of the Aus 52 fleet powered by Doyle Sails and getting such great results.”

SPAIN WIN SAN FRANSISCO SAILGP | Diego Botin and his Spanish team have dominated in San Fransisco on Super Sunday in the winner takes all final race. It was, once again, an action packed day of racing with thrills and spills with the Australian team losing their wing in a shocking incident on the first leg of the 7th race, with no injuries reported from the team.

Doyle Sails has been the sailmaker of choice for the SailGP League since its inception.
