Join Tree Corps this Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in King Park!

Volunteering with Tree Corps is a great way to get outdoors and learn about the trees in our city-wide arboretum!

Tree Corps meets every Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm to mulch and prune the trees in Newport's local parks. Tools are provided, and experience is not necessary.

This Juneteenth, the Richard I. Burnham resource center will be open for guests to visit the exhibition "A Name, A Voice, A Life: The Black Newporters of the 17th - 19th Centuries." 📜

Join us from 9am to 3pm to learn, explore, and connect with Newport's Black History in this immersive exhibition. Learn about the lives of 5 Black Newporters whose stories have been recovered from the Newport Historical Society's archives.

Admission is free, but donations are welcomed.
