When traveling out of the country always check for what the price is to upgrade. The cost to upgrade a ticket wasn’t much more after what would have cost for the luggage. It was only an extra $45 to offset the luggage. Well worth every penny. Also, you gain access to the AA admirals club which is clutch when you have a three hour wait for international flights. Private lounge, food, beverages, plug in stations, restrooms, coffee stations, bar etc. advantage of using a travel consultant with helpful hints and tips.
