Added another incredible Niagara Falls piece to my collection recently with this early 1900’s trolley card, which advertises for both Shredded Wheat & Triscuits. These products were made by The Natural Food Co. (later The Shredded Wheat Co & The National Biscuit Company aka “NABISCO”)
The graphics on these old advertisements are awesome! This sign will look amazing displayed next to the Triscuit sign I was able to obtain a couple years ago! Special thanks to Chris Hall for finding both of these pieces for me, and sending them back home to the Falls! 😎🙏🏻

I was able to purchase this awesome old wood cross this morning! It was recently found in the basement of a closed down church in Pennsylvania. As you can see, it’s big! About 5’ tall, with metal mounting brackets attached to the bottom section. I love the look of this cross… Gold paint, patina, and it’s just an incredible statement piece. Happy to add it to our collection!

Found this old “Neverout” kerosene lamp a little while back. This piece was made by the “Rose Mfg. Co.” in Philadelphia, and would have most likely been attached to a bicycle. It has a jewel on the back and each side, which look great when lit up! Wouldn’t want to run into this old thing! No it’s not a barbaric trap, or a medieval weapon lol. As rough and tough as this hunk of wood and nails looks, it’s actually a comb which was used to to prepare flax for spinning into linens. The flax fibers would be pulled through this comb numerous times to remove all the “junk”, leaving behind the straightened “clean” fibers.
