Tile can completely transform the look of a bathroom. We are still waiting for the glass, but look at the beauty of this shower!

It was a prefabricated mess before tearing it out and building it up again. The vertical tiles make the walls look higher. The light color makes it feel cleaner. The small grout lines keep the muck from showing up.

The finished product (minus the glass) is the first picture. The others show the shower in process.

Back from Brazil where we were visiting my side of the family... and hard at work making tiling dreams come true here in the states!

Tiling is widespread in Brazil. Even the exterior of buildings (of skyscrapers!) are tiled. The sidewalks are tiled. All floors in a house are tiled. The entire bathroom from floor to ceiling and all around are tiled. Below are pictures of us in our Christmas jammies enjoying the newly tiled floor at my parent's house in Brazil. Isn't the shiny marble stunning?

Pulled up the carpet in this spacious condominium master bedroom with a view. It is going to look luxurious once I get the tile installed. Tile is a lovely upgrade from carpet!

Pictures just don’t do it justice. The marble is bright white with flowing black accents. The tiles on the wall are 2 x 4 feet… yes, feet! The workmanship is incredible: tight grout lines, everything level, tile cut precisely around niche. This is before the glass was fitted. This was one of the hardest showers to complete due to the massive tiles. It’s a sight to see!

It’s graduation season, and we have our own to celebrate! It has been a long journey of over a year. Eber Nascimento studied the various unique qualities and requirements of this house and passed each project with high marks. His culminating project was an exquisite master shower that used 2 x 4 foot marble tiles. This year was not easy. He had to overcome a broken clavicle, consult frequently as plans changed due to unforeseen factors, deal with supply chain issues, and creatively problem solve how to scaffold and hold massive tiles. But he did it! And we are so proud. Master of Shower Arts

Eber Nascimento finished this gorgeous shower several weeks ago. The owner of the house entered it in a contest with the remodeling company he used. That company chose the top 10 entries for the public to vote on the best remodeling job. The contest has closed, and the owner won by a large margin! The owner credits the win to the immaculate work Eber did on his shower. Just take a look!

Let's talk niches... They come in all sizes, but must fit your shower necessities. Eber has done them horizontally and vertically, double-stacked or single, small and large. Whatever your taste, they make an impact, so they need to be done right. Look for precise cuts and tight grout lines. Here are 3 examples from showers he has done.
