It feels pretty good to be back on my home waters.

10 yr. old Brandon started the day with a solid 30 inch Mack.
He released it after a couple pics.
His lil brother picked up a nice eater.
That got things going and kept everyone’s attention on the catching.
A little while later Brandon found himself wrestling another jumbo that wasn’t giving up easily.
Inch by inch the line came in and finally Brandon’s fish rose to the surface.
He and his family were amazed to see this giant swimming alongside the boat.
The fish cooperated and I was able to reach overboard and lift it into the boat.
After a couple of quick pics, and a length measurement ( 41 inches) Brandon and I released it.
The looks on everyone’s faces were priceless. They didn’t realize fish grew that big in Priest Lk.
They kept two smaller trout for supper.

All in all it was a beautiful day.
The weather was perfect, and the memories will last a lifetime.

Idaho says, YES !!!!

I`m home, and I`m anxious to start fishing again.
I know that many of you are too.

Much thought has been given thinking of re-entry and what I would find when I got home.

It`s going to be different this time, this season is a game changer.

I have clients that are constantly texting/calling for me to get them out fishing.
My response is yes, yes yes yes......!!!

All`s well and I`ll just jump right back in the saddle and keep on keeping on.

Last night as I slept, enjoying the fresh mountain air and the sounds of ice cold sleet/rain rolling from the roof, I realized that this was not to be.
I have a responsibility to my neighbors, to my community, to do my part to ensure their safety.
My boats will be ready when all of this blows away, but, for now they will be laid up.

For those of you with reservations, please, let`s reschedule them.

For those that would like to experience a guided trip with me please call/text, or get a hold of me through facebook.

This too shall pass and we`ll all be able to enjoy our beautiful Idaho once again.

Euphoria !!!

This amazing Rainbow was brought to net by both Carrie and Ken.
It was Carrie’s turn in rotation when the fish hit.
It was a spectacular strike, numerous huge jumps and a startling amount of line ripped from the reel.
The line counter on the reel was well past 600 feet out. Carrie brought it all the way to 200 feet from the boat before her hands cramped.
Ken took over and did a superb job of guiding the fish to the boat during the final stages of the fight.
We attempted to return the fish to the lake, but it was not to be.
The catch of a lifetime will be mounted and enjoyed for many years.
