Some VV’s are domestic, some international. This custom small group was domestic - catching Christmas goods sales and festive ambiance in Helen, Georgia. A comfy bus ride away, excellent location at the quaint Castle Inn (would stay there again), a fun carriage ride complete with a stop for some hot apple cider, a great group, fab weather, lower crowd level at this time of year … a really fun trip with two thumbs up. It is safe to say we supported the local economy 😁 Cheers to 2025!

Interested in this tour? Thinking August 2025 or 2026. Just let me know if interested/questions via PM - there is a max of 22 per group. And it isn’t a kayaking trip - just have the opportunity to kayak with whales if you want. There is a zodiac involved. (August will have fewer skeeters and is still warm so no parkas needed.). International air to/from Winnipeg is on own.

Glamping time on the tundra with Frontiers North on their Tundra Buggy Lodge. Great accommodations, delicious food, awesome sightings, gracious staff all make for one nice expedition trip. And kudos to a great group in Tour 83! These pics will give you an idea of the setup.

The first couple of days of the trip … beginning with arriving in Winnipeg and meeting our fellow travelers, then flying to and touring around Churchill with our guide and driver the next day. Every territory is beautiful in its own way, that’s for sure.

Beautiful murals throughout Churchill, overcast and a little warmer than typical so the bears are hanging out waiting for the ice to form so they can head out. It’s a damp cold - nothing like the bitter cold during February’s Northern Lights - but still cold. Wear the correct clothing and you’ll be just fine!

Spent my first night out on the tundra and today was a full day out and about on the comfy tundra buggy. The polar bears are just waiting for the freeze so they can get out on the ice. A successful day - one of several - to see these beautiful polar bears!
