Just a tidbit! The greeting sound of Victoria Falls at the end of rainy season … wear clothes that will dry easily or essentially raingear. Gorgeous!

A dining EXPERIENCE - that's exactly what this awesome 8-course tasting menu meal (with optional wine pairing) is all about. I usually recommend a Michelin star restaurant experience on trips - I would add a tasting menu meal to that 'try it!' list.

La Mar's Executive Chef Diego Oka lends a Japanese/Peruvian influence to his Amano menu prep, presentation, and his own clay creation serving dishes. The entire experience is so unique, every detail well thought out and just delicious. It begins with the finest - thinnest - lip on stemware and water glass, then when you look at a presented dish and don't just see food - you see artful creations that happen to taste very good and are combinations you may never have considered. It is reservation only and there are four tables dedicated to this experience. Service was just as awesome as the rest of the experience, and consider the wine pairing expertise of your Sommelier.

Side note, if you have any allergies, make sure to disclose that at any restaurant.

Denise Bilski and I here for Afternoon Tea here which is inside the St. Regis in Bal Harbour - Reservation required, and a two thumbs up. I forgot to get photos of the fresh hot scones with cream and strawberry preserves. All so delicious and prettily presented. March is a tribute to ladies and flowers - so you will see all sorts of flowers which are edible when on the food. Check out the dessert presentation … known as The Birdcage! Great service and delicious teas to choose from. Well worth the consideration for the experience!
