Late-May trip to Nepal to walk the trail to Everest Base Camp. Appx 17 days with several in Kathmandu to explore. Tea house stays, tons of fun. You don’t have to be super fit - average walking per trail day will be about 5 hours, with a couple of longer days 😊🌏

Another incredible GlobalOkie Travel adventure is in the books. We went off-road in the Patagonia wilderness, devoured the best asado, paddled glacier-fed lakes, navigated the Drake Passage (twice), explored the continent of Antarctica, took a frigid polar plunge, visited British Port Lockroy and the world’s southernmost post office, saw baby penguins hatch, contemplated many icebergs, experienced near total daylight, were awed by territorial seals, rang in 2025 in a midnight twilight on the Last Continent, saw even more penguins and icebergs, and made lifelong memories and friendships - all in less than two weeks! We had the time of our lives and I think many of us would (and might) do it again 😃🐧🎉⛴️🇦🇶🤷🏼‍♂️🐳🦭. There’s still space on the following 2025 GlobalOkie trips: Flavors of Italy in May, Tanzanian Safari in June, July in Bali, and October in the 5 ‘stans (Central Asia). Come go with us!!
