Wieliczka Salt Mine

The salt mine is over 700 years old. Now a tourist attraction with carved salt sculptures, several chapels and a restaurant. Special events and weddings can also be held here.

I haven't been to Cambodia... yet. It's on my list to see the amazing sites like Angkor Wat. But this blog post, by Amanda with a Dangerous Business travel blog, is a reminder that there is a lot more to Cambodia than temples. If I had to guess, I would imagine that not many people under the age of 40 in the United States are familiar with The Killing Fields.

Throughout the course of history, people have done horrible things to other people. We have invaded, pillaged, destroyed, and claimed other lands. We have r***d, tortured, enslaved, and killed other people. For as long as we have been on the earth, humans have been doing terrible things to one anoth...
