Iron Arena Powerlifting & Performance

Iron Arena Powerlifting & Performance IA is Hudson County's only training facility equipped to surpass the needs of competitive powerlifte Iron Area Powerlifting & Performance (IA) opened in 2012.
(41)

It originally occupied a 3,000 sq. ft. space on the fifth floor of a century-old converted Wonder Bread Factory in Hoboken, New Jersey. A redevelopment plan forced us to relocate in October of 2016. Iron Arena is now located just three miles north of its former location in North Bergen, NJ. We're bigger and better than ever as we now occupy a 5,500 sq. ft space (located directly above New Jersey B

eer Co.) accessible via all major highways and public transportation. IA is Hudson County's only training facility equipped to surpass the needs of competitive powerlifters and performance athletes. Don't let the word "powerlifting" in our name dissuade you. Your personal goals may include diminished body fat, increased muscle mass and definition, enhanced strength, endurance, or an overall aim to maximize general fitness. Regardless of your pursuit -- the squat, bench press, and deadlift are a big part of the fitness equation. Therefore, we cater to anyone from novice to elite, with a sincere commitment to learning proper ex*****on in the barbell lifts. Iron Arena recognizes there is no one-size-fits-all program or methodology. For that reason, we employ a variety of training methods backed by science and evidence-based practice/application from years of personal experience. Your goals matter to us and we'll help implement an optimal training strategy to help you achieve results as efficiently as possible. Iron Arena is an officially recognized USAPL Friendly Gym by USA Powerlifting and is owned and operated by Jason Manenkoff.

I’ll make this short and sweet
Squat: 310 kgs/684 lbs (+5 kg meet PR)
Bench: 192.5 kgs/424 lbs (-2.5 kgs)
Deadlift: 317.5 kgs/ 699 lbs (-12.5 kgs); 335 kgs/739 attempted
Total: 820 kgs/1807 lbs (-10 kgs)
Bw: 87.98 kgs
Back to the drawing board and retuning some of the fine lines; the total that I’m imaging is very much in striking distance
I’m still feeling pretty confident despite what happened; just gotta get healthy, try harder 🤷
See ya in Atlanta @ 83 kgs :)

Thanks for getting me to where I’m at, for helping me get my bw down as a slowly start to lean out, for handling me it was great chatting in general for the entirety of the meet, I got some insight from your perspective which will be very useful in the futurekilos thanks for inviting me out to this meet, appreciate ya

Posted • I have always been someone who doesn’t like announcing things until I have completed the task at hand. Over the past few months I took it upon myself to become a USAPL State Referee and doing everything required to pass the exam. I studied the rulebook, reading it several times, and even watched livestreams of Powerlifting Meets to make assessments of what is passable in competition setting. Powerlifting has opened so many avenues for me. I have met my mentors in & , I have made many friends in the sports; more than I can count, and after being immersed in this environment of such amazing people I even started my own online coaching service in to help lifters become the best versions of themselves. Me being a referee is something I wanted to do because this sport has given me so much, and in returned I decided to become a referee so I can give back to the sport and those that have helped me along this journey! I want to thank for sharing his knowledge of the sport with me and giving me reassurance during my practical exam that I did well. Lastly I’d like to thank for giving me all the tools required to succeed and I couldn’t be any happier to represent what you have built in
