Located about 45 miles from Lancaster. Surrounded by private woodlands and fields. This house includes a 4 bedroom and 1 1/2 bath on a peaceful setting, just minutes from downtown North East. Enjoy wildlife of deer, birdwatching and star gazing all from the backyard. Full stocked kitchen and large firepit.

Attractions include: dining, shopping and wine tasting on NE Main Street. Nearby waterfront restaurants / bars, winery, marinas, brewery. Launch your boat across the street from the cottage. For memorable adventure try a horse back ride, rent a motor boat or skis or do a guided kayak tour. Elk Neck State Park & public beach, Turkey Pointe lighthouse hike and trails, North East Community Park and public fishing areas, Gilpins Falls & covered bridge are all within a short drive. Bath towels and bed linens included in rental.

Happy to host this homeschool group in our cottage & on our field. The students were able to enjoy and learn from so many of the great local places right here in North East. Everything from a tour and decoy carving with Upper Bay Museum ; candle making with Nature’s Glow Candle Company ; a kayak tour and team building with Bay Venture Outfitters ; hiking through gilpins covered bridge falls ; touring and feeding giraffe experience with Plumpton Park Zoo !

🇺🇸 HAPPY 4th OF JULY FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS 🇺🇸

Sliding in to the week like this 🛝 These kids enjoyed hours of fun this afternoon on this 22 foot high dual waterslide with a 60 foot long slip and slide. 3 Monkeys Inflatables was a great inflatable outfit to rent from that delivers to Lancaster, York and Cecil Counties. And the cottage provided the perfect open, flat field to set up this beast.

A short 15-20 minute drive from North East, this is probably one of our families favorite places to eat along the water! We highly suggest to arrive early or get reservations if dining there on a weekend.

Chesapeake City, Maryland, is a town defined by a canal. More precisely, it’s a town cut in half by a canal.
