I have fished this boat daily for 5 years, and at Medicare age have decided to move to something smaller that I can handle more easily by myself with an outboard. Best descriptive word for this boat would be DEPENDABLE! She just answers the bell every day and starts every time you bump the key. Biggest drawback is probably cosmetics. If you are OCD, clean and pristine this probably isn't your dream. If you want a fish catching machine that was built for the great lakes come take a test ride. Being sold as follows:

Tom Breene brought his friends Bob and Sue aboard for the first time today. These retirees were just too much fun to fish with! A delayed start made us work a little harder that normal for our fish, but we put together a nice box.

Tomorrow I have a family day on the boat. My daughter Casey Marie , son in law Aaron will be joining me and my Grandson Alex is planning to catch a big fish on Grandpa's boat. Fingers crossed for something with size!

A south to north troll across the trench, targeting 50 feet down produced a crazy bite for Steve Graf's 4 man crew this morning a steady diet of triples and quads filled the box too quickly for me to bother with pictures. A big shout out to Capt. Vince Silvaggi of Old Timer Charters for controlling the Chaos in the back of the boat this morning!

The bite is as good as it gets, and time is running g out to fill the freezer! Let's gooo!

Today, Ernie and I had the honor of taking these 4 USA Vets out on the big pond. Loaded to the gunnels with manpower, and coolers upon coolers of every drink and snack and sandwich available, courtesy of the Titusville Elks who sponsored the trip, we chugged out to the killing grounds after a weather delayed start about 8.00 am. After a rough start and losing a planer board, we finally got the ball rolling and boxed the happy crew just in time for those submarine sandwiches! A special thanks to the Elks for choosing me to host this event and my awesome contact lady Traci Middleton !

So, also in the news, there's a new ride for me next year sitting in my driveway. Really excited to be back into an outboard. This will open some early and late season opportunities for spring perch, and fall Lakers. Also I have bought a brand new suzuki kicker for trolling to match the Main. Currently considering names. Open to suggestions, leaning tward "Baby Grace" at the moment. Will be finishing the season on the Baha after which I may or may not sell it.

Fishing friends, I am looking for a bit of advice. I am considering a new(to me) boat. My current rig does one thing, and does it pretty well. Thats taking groups of up to 4 out trolling with a pretty dry safe ride. It kills fish trolling very well.

I would like to expand to some drifting, jigging capabilities with the ability to utilize the entire boat, not just the rear 8 feet while not giving up the things my current 251 Baha Fisherman offers
Thoughts, Suggestions? Do I need 2 boats?

First laker charter this year with Darrick Johnson's boys. Very well behaved young men on a tough bite. We did manage a handful of scattered fish including this 20 lber that Caleb caught. Just couldn't find that decent sized school to work. Scouting Barcelona tomorrow.
