When your car becomes your part time summer office. Yesterday I pulled together some fall options for a couple families while waiting for baseball practice to finish up. I was surprised to see how full the Disney resorts are for October. ICCSD families, if you want to travel for fall break please reach out now! You’ll have more choices for resorts and dining now than you will come August when you start thinking about the new school year.
It was a first trip for these two cuties! This family’s priorities were to meet lots of characters and enjoy some pool time. A stay at the Polynesian was just right for them. Their girls favorite part of the trip was the pool at the Polynesian!
Eating in Cinderella’s Castle at Cinderella’s Royal Table was a highlight for these sweet girls. They also got to meet Mickey, Minnie and pals at Chef Mickey’s!
This family was able to quickly get the hang of using Genie+ and use it to their advantage to greatly reduce their waiting time. That was lucky because while they initially thought the girls might be a little scared of the rides they actually ended up loving all of them.
I can’t wait to plan again with this family!
Shawna was an easy gal to work with. This was a first trip for her kids and they wanted something magical and memorable. A stay at the Polynesian was just perfect for this family. It has a true resort feel and is perfect for your down time. Her son enjoyed their pool day the most and especially the hot tub even though it was 93 degrees out!! Haha!
This family didn’t just enjoy pool time though, they had several 12 hour park days and they loved just about everything! Some absolute favorites were Animal Kingdom, specifically the Lion King show, Pandora and Flight of Passage. A few other family favorites from the parks were Rise of the Resistance, Slinky Dog, Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.
They took some time to enjoy some delicious Disney meals as well. Chef Art Smiths in Disney Springs was favorite by all but they also enjoyed Boathouse, Sci-fi and a character breakfast at Ohana!
Grandma joined them for this trip and she said she’s ready to travel with them again!! I love that Disney can be enjoyed by all ages! Truly magical!

My Mickey Vacation Travel is thrilled to be among the first guests to experience Disney Cruise Line's brand-new island destination, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point! Today, they set sail to this tropical paradise! I’ll be posting updates so come back for more!
Double your fun with a split stay at Universal Orlando and Disney World! This family wanted to check out Harry Potter but also couldn’t resist getting their Disney fix while in Orlando so we split their time between the two and they had an absolute blast. Their priorities for the trip were pool time and thrill rides!
For Universal, Hard Rock Hotel was a no brainer for this family. They loved the convenient location, the amazing pool and they were able to get in tons of park time where they enjoyed Velocicoaster and Hagrid’s Motorbike the most!
Heading over to Disney we kept them in a nice convenient location again with a stay at the Contemporary. They got a garden wing room which put them nice and close to the pool. They also got to celebrate a birthday and anniversary at California Grill with a fireworks view!! You can’t beat that!
I was so happy I got to plan this second Disney and first Universal trip with this fun family!

It was a very busy week with families on Caribbean sailings, Mexico sailings, at all inclusive resorts, Universal Orlando and Disney World! From princess meals, to beach time, to rollercoasters, to exploring Mexico and getting Harry Potter Wands, I had families doing it all!
Now wish me luck as I prep my April spring break guests so they can have equally amazing trips!
