I had the privilege of helping this family plan another amazing Disney vacation. They had to endure some cold weather but they took it like champs and had a magical week.
Their youngest was able to take on some bigger rides on this trip and some of his top rides were Slinky Dog Dash and Barnstormer . Big sis also loved Slinky Dog as well as 7 Dwarfs Mine Train. Mom and dad were able to use ride swap and enjoy Guardians of the Galaxy and Tron!
They tried several new dining experiences for this trip including Storybook Dining, Roundup Rodeo and Crystal Palace.

Travel Tip Tuesday! ✈️

If you're looking to save on your next flight, check out this travel backpack (link below)! It fits as a personal item under the seat but you can fit SO MUCH in it. I avoided paying $70-$80 round trip to check a bag on my last flight by using this bag. My daughter’s using it for her trip next month, saving her $70 too—it’s already paid for itself! 🎒

Just a heads-up: If you're flying out of Cedar Rapids (CID) on a small plane, don’t overpack—it can be a tight fit under the seat. An older man helped me with my backpack while I put my suitcase up above and he declared that I must have filled it with bricks 😂

🌟 Throwback Thursday to My Disneyland Hotel Stay! 🌟

I can’t believe it’s already been over 7 years since I first stayed at the iconic Disneyland Hotel in California 🎢. While there, I had the chance to experience the Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween party and see all the enchanting fall decorations! 🎃🍂 The Disneyland Hotel is truly a magical place to stay, especially during the fall season.

Just a friendly reminder that Iowa City School District has a fall break every October, making it the perfect time for your family to visit Disneyland and create lasting memories together. And now, there are brand new villas available at the Disneyland Hotel, adding even more luxurious options for your stay! 🏰✨ I was able to tour the new villas in November 2023 and they are gorgeous!

“Our first family trip to Disney was a success! We stayed at the new Poly Tower, went to 3 of the 4 parks, did all the LL (multi and single tickets), included dining plans, memory maker and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. When I started planning in August of 2024, this would have looked like a foreign language. Terri will translate and make it magical! Terri’s guidance and assistance made the “overwhelming” planning choices of Disney much easier. Terri booked everything for us and made it easy! Highly recommend and grateful.”

It’s Disney day! I know many of you might assume it’s all Disney all day but we have a lot of partners we work and train with each year but today is all day DISNEY. Yesterday was all about building relationships with all our suppliers we use for your vacations. When families come to me they have all different needs and requests for their vacations. Some families need something simple like a stroller, some families need to make sure their trip is covered by insurance, some want round trip rides from the airport and they list goes on and on.
