Five of the world’s most exciting new cruise ships are set to make waves in the Caribbean in 2025. Here’s what to expect on board these impressive vessels.

#𝟭 𝗠𝗦𝗖 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗔
In recent years, Italian giant MSC Cruises has pushed hard into the U.S. market. From April 2025, MSC World America makes its debut in Miami. For the first time, MSC has crafted a brand new cruise ship with the American market firmly in mind.

#𝟮 𝗥𝗖𝗖𝗟 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗦
Star of the Seas is a cruise ship being built for Royal Caribbean International and will be the second Icon-class cruise ship built, the first being Icon of the Seas. She is expected to enter service on 31 August 2025, and will be homeported at Port Canaveral, Florida, United States

#𝟯 𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗪𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗔
The Norwegian Aqua, debuting in April 2025, is Norwegian Cruise Line's first ship in the "Prima Plus" class. It features the world's first hybrid slidecoaster at sea, spacious accommodations including Three-Bedroom Duplex Suites, expanded outdoor spaces, and diverse dining and entertainment options. With enhanced amenities and innovative design, the ship promises unforgettable experiences starting from Port Canaveral.

#𝟰 𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗚𝗜𝗡 𝗩𝗢𝗬𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗦 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗟𝗔𝗗𝗬
Fourth ship, debuts in September 2025 following construction delays. With 1,408 cabins, 86% featuring balconies, plus luxurious suites and solo accommodations, the new ship will carry up to 2,700 guests.

#𝟱 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗡𝗘𝗬 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗬
Launching in November 2025, will be Disney Cruise Line’s third Wish-class ship, carrying 4,000 passengers.

𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗜𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱
While these five eye-catching new cruise ships have dominated headlines, there are several other intriguing vessels awaiting launch.

Debuting in September 2025, Star Princess will be Princess Cruises' second Sphere-class ship, 20% larger than its predecessors, and the 17th in the fleet. Featuring expanded accommodations, including new Reserve and Signature Collections, it continues the line’s heritage with a fresh design and is the third ship to bear the name.

By the end of 2025, Celebrity Cruises should have launched Celebrity Xcel, the fifth Edge-class ship. Debuting in November with alternating seven-night Caribbean itineraries from Fort Lauderdale, the 3,260-passenger vessel will feature signature spaces like The Retreat, the Magic Carpet, and Sunset Bar.
