Where can you go on a Danube River Cruise? On my recent cruise, our first day was spent in the charming city of Passau, Germany. Known as the “City of Three Rivers” as it is where the Danube, Inn, and Ilz meet! 🌊✨ This picturesque town is also home to the stunning St. Stephen’s Cathedral, featuring the largest cathedral organ in the world with over 17,000 pipes! 🎶🎹 A must-see for history buffs and architecture lovers alike.

What an incredible day exploring the charming town of Miltenburg, Germany! 🏰 Hiked up to the castle for stunning views, then ventured into the beautiful Bavarian forest, out of my comfort zone, but worth it! The town is filled with picturesque half-timbered houses and even home to the oldest working hotel in Germany! 🏡✨ Perfect blend of history and nature.

As a total Francophile, there’s nothing I love more than being in France, even if just for a day! 🇫🇷 Wandering through the storybook streets of “Petit France” in Strasbourg is pure magic — half-timbered houses, canals, and all the charm. The Cathedral is simply magnificent! 🏰✨

On this day, we remember the bravery and sacrifice of those who stormed the beaches of Normandy. You can still see the bunkers and lasting damage to the landscape. Standing on these shores last year with my family was incredibly special. One can’t help but feel moved by the immense courage that changed the course of history.
