The Blyde River Canyon is a 26km long Canyon located in Mpumalanga, South Africa. It is the one of the larger canyons on Earth. Unlike the Grand and Fish River Canyon, the Blyde River Canyon is a "green canyon" which is dominated by subtropical vegetation. The canyon forms part of the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve.

The Drakensberg Mountain Range is one of Lesotho/South Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders, showcasing a selection of the most breath-taking vistas imaginable.

It is the highest mountain range in the country, reaching an impressive 3482 metres above sea level.

Its name, Drakensberg, roughly translate to “dragon mountains” or “the mountains of dragons”. And, it’s no wonder that it has earned this name because some of the peaks are mammoth in size and stature.

The Drakensberg escarpment stretches for more than 1,000 kilometres (620 miles).
