The Playpus at the San Diego Zoo's Safari Park
As you may have noticed, the platypus is both the namesake and the "mascot" of my travel business ... But WHY??
๐ The platypus is my favorite animal! (What's not to love about a cuddly-looking mammal that lays eggs and has poisonous spurs on its feet?)
๐ It is my hope that the travel I plan and deliver to each of my clients is just as UNIQUE and UNEXPECTED as the platypus is to the rest of the animal kingdom.
Maybe this short video (from exactly one year ago) will be enough to make you fall in love with this one-of-a-kind creature, too ... And inspire you to reach out so that we can start planning your next UNIQUE vacation!
CRUISE into a new adventure in 2023! ๐ณ
Youโll never be BORED when youโre onBOARD a cruise ship! There's so much to see and do, and the options are endless when you plan excursions during your port days (especially when your co-captain is a trusted travel agent like me)!
Our second day in San Diego was spent at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park for one reason alone ... To see the only platypuses outside of Australia in action! The resident male, Birrarung, did not disappoint (the female, Eve, was shy and did not make an appearance). I will spare you the videos of my high-pitched squealing! ๐
