It's Travel Advisor Tuesday, so here's a quick tip ...
One of the biggest stumbling blocks when we left for the Dominican Republic was travelers that did not fill out their "etickets" for entry into the country prior to arriving at the airport. This kept check-in lines long and moving slowly, as airline counter and gate agents had to continually assist and instruct them on what to do to obtain their "eticket" before they could do anything else!
Instead of doing the research yourself, let ME (your travel advisor) get into the weeds of the various country requirements and make sure that you have everything you need for entry, while you simply think about all the fun you will have while you are away!
We really enjoyed our week at the Riu Bambu in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic!
As I've said before, Riu resorts are a great option for families that are on a budget, but that still want to have an exciting all-inclusive experience! Punta Cana is on the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic and abuts the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. The Bรกvaro area and Punta Cana combine to form what's known as La Costa del Coco, or the Coconut Coast, an area of all-inclusive resorts. Punta Cana is known for its long stretch of beaches and clear waters, and is popular for zip-lining, windsurfing, kayaking and sailing.

The final days of our tour were spent in the city of Edinburgh. We really enjoyed exploring its castle, colorful streets, and "secret" alleyways. It was the perfect end to a wonderful week in Scotland!

In a couple of days, it will have been a whole month since my son and departed for Scotland! Here are some pictures from the first leg of our journey ... Glasgow! We really enjoyed our time exploring the city (after the first day where we wandered around like zombies)!
