We are so pleased to now offer 3 unique accommodations on Topsail Island in beautiful North Carolina: Pass the Salt, The Portly Whale, and Dune Tootin'. The name Pass the Salt is a phrase that was used by my mother after she was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2004. When she struggled to find words, she would say, "Pass the Salt" to let us know she was trying to find a specific word. She passed away that same year. The name The Portly Whale is a little nod to our son, Jonah, the light of our lives. And finally, Dune Tootin' is named to remind us of the beauty and wonder of life, and well, that life is beautiful - yer Dune Tootin'!! Thank you for visiting this site!
