Looking for a shorter stay this summer? Beginning August 20, we will fall back to a 3 day minimum until next peak season. Great opportunity to take a long weekend trip or a great midweek stay! Still have some time left in September and October, too! Can’t beat Fall at the beach!

It's almost that time of year!!!
What time of year you ask??
Sea turtle nesting time!!!!!
May 1st is officially the beginning of sea turtle nesting season!! Super exciting for our beaches! Although a lot of people don't know proper sea turtle education, that's why I made a sea turtle awareness sculpture!!

Trash, well that's just bad all around! I don't think I need to elaborate too much on that! No one likes trash, especially sea turtles!! Please help by picking up any stray piece of trash you may see!! On or off the beach!!! Thank you!!

HOLES!!!! SUPER BAD!!!! Why are holes so bad you ask? Because sea turtles can easily get stuck, suffocate, and pass away! Sea turtles do not physically possess muscles to push themselves backwards, they've spent their whole lives in the water, no need for those types of muscles!! Therefore they cannot physically push themselves backwards when they fall into a hole! They instead keep trying to go forward! Most of the time accidentally burying, and suffocating themselves!!

I totally get it! Everyone loves digging a hole at the beach! I'm not saying you can't, I'm just asking you please fill in your holes! We love protecting our sea turtles! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your efforts towards helping protect our sea turtles!! We appreciate your efforts!!
