Absolutely in love with the new sliding door and it’s such a great day to let it stay wide open and enjoy the nice spring breeze!

We have quite a bit of availability left for May! This is THE BEST time to come to Topsail, right before peak season! The St. Regis resort has a lot of new amenities this year, including a top floor restaurant, another bar and grill in building 1, a coffee and ice cream shop and a snack cabana!

Exciting upgrade to The Turtle’s Nest today! We have been waiting on a replacement slider for the living room to be installed! The old one had troubles locking and sliding all the way open, now we have an awesome new slider that opens from the middle on both sides! This was a massive effort as the contractors had to remove and install all of the windows and door assembly that was originally there!

We survived Idalia with no damage! It appears that we actually gained sand on the beach from the storm! While we got off lucky, there are many others who did not. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them and hope they have a speedy recovery! The weather at the beach looks fantastic this weekend!!

Some excitement outside of The Turtle's Nest this morning! 232 sea turtle eggs were laid just outside of our building last night! North Topsail Beach is a prime place for sea turtles to nest this time of the year! Be sure to fill in holes on the beach and keep lights off on balconies at night so they don't get confused!

We’ve been busy the last few weeks. After listening to feedback and navigating our first rental season, several changes were implemented! Our updates include:
— New floor tile throughout
— Updated tile in the bathrooms

The flooring project we’ve been working on is almost complete!! We replaced the pergo flooring throughout with new tile and couldn’t be happier with the results. We should be ready for renters again in a couple of weeks!

Beyond a little ocean overwash on Topsail Island, The Turtle's Nest survived Ian with no damage. We hope our friends in Florida and anyone else affected have a fast and speedy recovery!

Thank you for a great first season at The Turtle's Nest! We have spent the last couple of weeks working on a few improvements that will surely make your next visit even more enjoyable!
