Lipstick and Lead is a BRAND NEW ladies group established by women for women and is intended to introduce the prettier of the genders to the world of personal protection and shooting sports. Activities are designed to meet new and beginning shooters at their current skill
level, and to equip them with solid fundamentals to build on in a non-intimidating and fun environment. Lipstick and Lead will provide the experienced shooter with opportunities for continued development, and will encourage them to use their experience in a peer mentorship with a new shooter. Whether you desire to learn to shoot, improve your marksmanship, explore the world of fi****ms for personal protection or home defense, get a grip on what the hoopla is with shooting clay Frisbees out of the sky, or finally be able to resist the urge to poke your eye out with a pencil when your significant other starts to talk guns … this group is for you! Lipstick and Lead believes that it is important to come together with like-minded females in a safe, fun and supportive environment to shoot, but it doesn’t stop there! Lipstick and Lead will also be offering monthly clinics covering special topics such as:
• Firearm Safety and the Fundamentals of shooting
• Choosing a firearm for concealed carry and home defense
• Holster talk – making it work with the female wardrobe
• Guns and children – storage techniques that work for you
• Does size really matter – Understanding calibers
• Unarmed personal protection
• And much, much more ……
Lipstick and Lead is open to women from the general public who desire to acquire the tools to protect herself and/or participate in shooting sports!
