Had the perfect day on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH! ☀️ The weather was absolutely delightful, and our time on the water was pure bliss. Huge thanks to Goodhue Boat Company for the fantastic pontoon boat rental—highly recommend them for anyone looking to enjoy a day on the lake. 🌊🚤

Middle Sugarloaf is one of my favorite hikes. Amazing views, expansive summit and usually less crowded. Took the family and two virgin hikers up today. We successfully converted one into a hiker the other one not so much. We dodged the rain and had a great lunch at Rek-Lis post hike.

What a day! Mother Nature hasn’t exactly been kind to skiers in the Northeast this winter but the mountains are doing their best. We had an amazing day mountain. What a great mountain, amazing views from the peak, fabulous apres, and so many great runs. Hats off Tenney! We can’t wait I come back.

We came, we tasted, and we loved…Strawberry Passion Fruit! It would pair perfect with a hot summer day or in this case a cold apres ski evening. The Blackberry vanilla was a surprise. I didn’t think I would like it but I did. we can’t wait to see what on tap next time we visit.

I’m beyond proud to be a part of the Deer Park Community in the Lin-Wood, NH area. This is the 6th year of giving back at our annual homeowners meeting and the largest donation to date. So many of us consider Deer Park our “Happy Place” or Home away from home”. It’s nice to see our community come together to give back to this amazing organization. In addition to the cash donations our owners cleaned out their closets to give winter coats, jackets, and snow pants to The Bridge Project who distributes them to local residents who need them.

It’s not an epic hike or an outdoor adventure but when I can’t make it up to the White Mountains in NH I have to use my imagination on the Jacob’s Ladder to maintain my hiking conditioning. Listening to the SLASR podcast while I’m climbing each rung helps motivate me and makes it easier to picture myself on the mountain. Thanks Mike and Stomp!

Yesterday’s weather killed our ski plans but with a little searching we found our adventure indoors. was so much fun. Brian was super helpful with a quick lesson, we were off and climbing. He helped and encouraged the kids to make it up some challenging sections. So many options for all abilities. The kids had a blast! We’ll definitely be back. 🧗

Our Happy Place

We have been traveling to NH for over 15 years and taking our kids up to NH since they were born. We live in Massachusetts but have always considered the mountains of NH and the Lincoln/Woodstock area our "Happy Place". After years of being a renter in the area we have finally purchased our vacation home and are excited to share it with other families looking for a great vacation spot. We love to ski, hike, bike, run and check out all the different activities the area has to offer.

We chose Deer Park because of the location and setting. The grounds are perfect for letting the kids ride their bikes, taking a stroll after dinner, sitting by the lake or floating down the river right in front of our building. It's also close to several ski areas, lots of hiking and other activities and is easily accessible off the highway. We've rented many different places but when it came to purchasing it was without question Deer Park.

In addition to everything in the area of Lincoln/Woodstock, Deer Park offers the luxury of not having to leave the property to have a good time. We have a beautiful recreation center with indoor pool, hot tub, game room with pool tables, indoor squash courts, fitness center, outdoor tennis courts, a beautiful lake with a sandy beach and a flowing river out back.
