Get excited, the ’s annual WinterFest is coming up! Here’s the details:

“Join us for 8 days of frosty fun from February 15 to February 22! Amherst Recreation, in collaboration with many community partners, will host a variety of free and affordable events for residents and visitors of all ages to embrace the winter season. Highlights include:

❄️ 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 (Saturday, February 15 from 1-4 pm at Mill River Recreation Area): Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with friendly competition including snowball fights, street hockey, Cider Donut Eating Contest, and a Frosty Fun Carnival.

🔥 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 & 𝗜𝗰𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 (Saturday, February 22 from 3-6 pm at the Town Common): Don’t miss transform the Town Common into a magical winter wonderland. Activities include dazzling ice sculptures, fire juggling, hot coca and s’mores, and a breathtaking luminaria display.
