She has traveled to 38 countries around the world, and finds her joy in exploring new places. Annie started Bucket List Travel in 2015 when she realized she could provide a valuable service to people who wanted help traveling to locations on their bucket lists. Prior to that, she worked for 30 years in marketing communications. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration and Marketing, and a M

aster’s of Education in Communications. She lives in Massachusetts in the United States where she was born, but spends nearly half the year traveling with her tour groups.

This is the rope seal securing the doors of Tutankhamun's tomb, unbroken for more than 3200 years until shortly after Harry Burton took this photo in 1923. A description from National Geographic:

Still intact in 1923 after 32 centuries, rope secures the doors to the second of four nested shrines in Tutankhamun's burial chamber. The necropolis seal — depicting captives on their knees and Anubis, the jackal god of the dead — remains unbroken, a sign that Tut's mummy lies undisturbed inside.

Beautiful kudu.
Male kudus have long, spectacular spiral horns. that can grow as long as 6 feet, making 2.5 graceful twists.
Adult males are up to 5 feet tall at the shoulder, and weigh 260 to 700 pounds!

On safari, we look for the "Big 5" animals: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo. The "Big 5" was so named by hunters decades ago because of how difficult and dangerous these 5 animals were to hunt and shoot.
We had some great sightings of buffalo on our game drives.
