*Schedule changes this Thursday, 09/12/24*

We are making some small changes to our spring / fall schedule. As many know the boat tends to be late at the islands. We saw after changing our summer schedule that it helped us stay on time. We’re hoping similar changes to this schedule will help just as much.
Please note that the departure times on our 2:30pm run are a little earlier now. This is to help us arrive back to NEH sooner to prep for our 4:30pm departure.

We appreciate everyone sharing this post to help spread the word. We’ll start implementing the new schedule this Thursday, 09/12/24.

Our 4:30pm departure has been changed to 5:15pm for today only.

Cranberry ➡️ NEH: 6:00pm

Schedule & Night Boat Update:

Our Fall Schedule begins Monday, September 2nd!

Our night boat schedule will also change next week. We will be departing from Northeast Harbor & the IDR @8:30pm. We will continue running the night boat everyday except for Mondays and Tuesdays or when the IDR is closed to the public. As the season slows, we’ll let you know when the night boat schedule changes.

We will be running our normal schedule with the exception of no Early Morning Commuter or 9pm Night Boat. The attached photo is our summer day schedule and all of these runs will be happening tomorrow.

We are looking to hire another captain to work 3 full days each week (7am - 7pm). Pay is $30/hour. Please reach out if you’re interested. Applicants must hold proper documentation including 50-ton captain license.

Spring schedule starts May 6th!
ALSO,
We have decided to start charging $2/bag on the boat! This will go into effect on Monday, May 6th. *first bag/ trip is free*. Feel free to consolidate your groceries to reduce your cost. If you plan to have the crew help load and unload your bags, we do ask that you don’t OVERload your bags. Our crew members are strong but they probably don’t want to be lugging a ton of extremely heavy bags.
As you all are probably aware, our commuter pass price increases on May 6th as well. For anyone that has not purchased their tickets at the discounted rate and would like to do so, you can mail a check to our PO Box and we will mail them to you or hold them until you can pick them up. Alternatively, you can purchase them right on the boat. We aren’t currently able to process payments over the phone, sorry!

We are keeping a close eye on tomorrow’s weather forecast. Depending on the severity of the wind, we may have to cancel. We will post later today with a decision. As always, we hope to run, and especially tomorrow given that there is a scheduled dental clinic.

We just wanted to give everyone a heads up that we may have some cancelations Wednesday and we are likely canceling Thursday runs. We’ll post again tomorrow night when we have a better idea of the forecast.

Our Spring schedule starts May 6th and with that brings the seasonal increase for purchasing 10-trip tickets. Until then, we welcome everyone to purchase their tickets in bulk at the discounted price of $90 each.
You can purchase on the boat or mail us a check with your return address and we will mail them to you.

We’re running today but starting a bit late! Approximately 45 min behind schedule. Sorry! A crew member wasn’t here this morning so we had to scramble for a replacement. The 3:30pm should run on time.

Although we really wanted to run tomorrow, the weather forecast is looking far too dangerous to risk our crew, boats, and passengers. We are very sorry to say that tomorrows runs will be canceled. We aren’t making this decision lightly, as we know quite a few people are needing transportation tomorrow. We understand there will be frustration from those people, and so we just want to say that we’re very sorry if we are letting you down.
