No commuter run tomorrow (7/4/25)
Operating ALL other runs tomorrow as normally scheduled, including the nightboat.

The busy season is among us and with that comes fuller boats. This is just a friendly reminder we are prioritizing online bookings. Walk ons are still welcome when theres space. With that said, if you’re planing to take our busier runs (10am,12pm,2pm,2:45pm,3:05pm) it’s highly encouraged to book online. Again, walk ons are welcome but only if there’s space; getting on the boat first does not guarantee you a spot if we’re at full capacity with online bookings.

** Updating to add some info about commuters:

Physical commuter passes are for walk-on use. We also offer online commuter passes for online reservations. This was mentioned earlier in the season when we posted a reminder about the commuter pass sale ending but lots of folks missed it. We are more than happy to transfer any physical commuter passes to be used online at no extra charge. The best way to do this is send us an email or give us a call. We will take the physical commuter pass(es) back and transfer them to an online version so that you can reserve online without paying for each individual trip.

Friday 05/23 cancellations:

Update: planning to run at 11am and then normal schedule after that.

We have decided to cancel the commuter and 7:30am run tomorrow due to the current weather forecast. The wind should dissipate quickly but the 11am run is questionable. We will update this post later this evening when we have decided about running at 11am.

We will be running a 5pm next week, May 5th through the 9th.

Departure times as follows:

5pm NEH to Islands
5:20pm GCI to LCI & NEH
No LCI to GCI
5:35pm LCI to NEH

Schedule Update:
We begin running the Commuter Ferry tomorrow, May 1st.
Spring schedule will start May 12th this year. We will also be extending the commuter ticket sale until May 12th as well. If you haven’t gotten a chance to purchase your commuter tickets for $90 yet, there’s still time to do so before the price increases.

Canceling 3:30pm run Saturday (04/26/25)

Due to the current forecast for tomorrow afternoon, we’ve decided to cancel our 3:30pm run.

We plan to run at 7:30am & 11am tomorrow. Sunday’s schedule will remain the same with a run at 7:30am & 3:30pm.

SUMMER JOB OPENINGS ☀️

We’d like to share with everyone some positions we’re looking to fill this summer. Word of mouth through our local community has brought us some of our best employees. If you’re able to share this post we’d greatly appreciate it!

CAPTAINS (50 ton):
- “Commuter” Boat:
5.30am to 7am, Monday - Friday for the month of May. This position pays $50 for 90 min of work and is great for an early bird! Some days available throughout the summer are also available to fill.
- Daily Captain:
7am to 7pm, Friday - Sunday. Starting pay is $30/hour, increased pay is possible for the right candidate.

DECKHANDS
- Daily Deckhand:
7am - 7pm. Starting pay is $16, increased rates are available for experienced & hardworking candidates. Helpful deckhands receive a bit of tips from happy riders too.
We have immediate availability for our daily deckhand position. As we get busier, we’ll need more deckhands. Year round work is also available for the right candidate.

SALES REP
- Ticket Booth Sales:
9am - 4pm. This seasonal position is perfect for someone’s first job, a college student that would like to be able to work on studies when work is slow, or a retiree that likes to socialize & read when work is slow! This position has a pay rate starting at $15 but we can certainly offer more pay for the right candidate that’s willing to take on more responsibility.
