Cooter's Backyard BBQ, Higher Ground Distilling Company Cleenstreet will be providing food, drink and music prior to our departure for the parade. There has been so much devastation in our small community from the storms/tornadoes that came through. The Edinburg Emergency Squad took the lead and stepped up providing food and other items to responders, residents, and anyone in need.

Let’s show our love for them and raise some money that they so unselfishly spent on those in need.

So many vendors, artisans, and craftspeople ready to put their work on display. This event is always busy! The forecast looks beautiful so be sure to walk over and check it out!

This is the last week to get stocked up before the Sacandaga Dog Supply & Feed Store is closed for a week from 6/30 to 7/8 and will reopen Tuesday 7/9.

Head on over and make sure your furry friends and others are all taken care of🐾

Northville Central School Districts budget was voted down May 21, 2024 by 3 votes.

There is a public hearing on June 11, 2024 at 5:30pm in the conference room or virtual for those who cannot attend in person.

Next voting day is June 18, 2024 from 12pm-8pm. Please educate yourselves at the hearing and get out and vote.

GSLFF KIDS FISHING DERBY!
Saturday, June 1, 2024 - 10am to 12 pm
Northville Lake at Water Street, Northville, NY

GSLFF’S YOUTH FISHING TOURNAMENT OFFICIAL RULES

Please use common sense, courtesy, and respect for others and your surroundings. All participants must register before fishing. The Fishing Derby officially begins at 10 AM and ends at 12 PM. No fishing before 10 AM. Tournament registration will be from 8:30 to 10 AM. The Official Measuring Station closes at 12 PM. Observe and respect other people around you. NYS Game Law apply. Please pick up all trash at the end of the Tournament.

1. Adults may help kids, if needed. Try to let kids’ fish as much as they can. Adults may bait hooks, net fish, remove hooks, and untangle lines, but may not cast or retrieve for the children.
2. One fishing pole per child.
3. All fish caught must be measured by 12:00 PM
4. Fish must be caught from the shore. Boats, floats and rafts of any kind are not permitted.
5. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the fishing derby around 12:00 PM
6. Winners need NOT be present to claim their awards.
7. The biggest fish will be determined by length.
8. Age categories are 4-6, 7-9, and 10-13 years old.
9. Fish anywhere around Northville Lake only.
10. All decisions made by event coordinators are final.
11. This contest is for “THE KIDS”

We may have a limited menu today while we work out some kinks and grab a few things we might have forgotten but that isn’t gonna hold us back from kicking off the summer with you!
