Really sad news today. Garth Garth C. Mann Jr. our wonderful bus driver that helped us see the East and the West passed away last night. We are going to miss him. He was a really great guy. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

We are still going on this trip. It’s going to be amazing. Hope you will consider coming along.

We sent out a note last week that we would be offering a fully escorted trip to Egypt for October 2024 if you’re interested and we now have it ready to book. We have 32 spaces so if your thinking about this you probably want to sign up early as opposed to waiting. Many of our trips sell out so I don't want you to be disappointed.

There has been some concern with the State Dept issuing a level 3 - reconsider travel advisory for all of Egypt. Checking into what they are concerned about is several points that you should be aware of. ... they are concerned about the Sinai Peninsula due to terrorism (this trip does not go there) .. they are concerned with the Western Desert due to terrorism (this trip does not go there) .. they are concerned with Egyptian border areas due to military zones (this trip does not go there) ... ... they are concerned that if your a citizen with Dual citizenship US and Egypt that Egypt considers you a Egyptian citizen first and the US State Dept cannot help you ...

We should be careful traveling to Egypt the same as any country but traveling with Collette Vacations where they are doing an Egypt tour almost every week we are pretty safe traveling with them.

We have checked with Collette Vacations and if you book your trip today and include the Travel Insurance you can cancel up to the middle of April and get a 100% full refund including the insurance premium. Because of this refund policy I would recommend you sign up now knowing you can cancel up to the middle of April for any reason with full refund.

The link below is the best way for you to sign up for this trip. The link takes you to the page where you click on the sign me up link and from there you fill out the form ... be sure to select that you do want the Cancel for Any Reason Travel Insurance. They will want the deposit at the time of booking which is $ 898 per person plus $ 599 per person for the travel insurance. They do have a "single supplement" so if you don't have a travel companion you can go with us anyway.

Laurie and I have been wanting to return to Cairo and do the Nile river cruise so we will definitely be going on this trip. We hope you will come with us.

Good morning from Ketchikan, Alaska. While George is busy in the office, my (Joanie) "office is on the beautiful NCL Bliss. These photos do not even begin to capture the beauty of Alaska!

Yesterday, we slowly cruises through Glacier Bay. It was an amazing experience everyone should enjoy at least once in a lifetime. I am already booked to return next year.

Iceland in search of the northern lights. We have a group going to Reykjavik on January 26, 2022 returning on Feb 2, 2022 staying in a central city hotel.
