The Chippewa Lake Water Ski Show Team is Ohio's only competitive water ski show team. Their "home lake" is in Medina, 1/2 hour from Cleveland and Akron metro areas. The Team is actively recruiting new members, and if interested please visit our website www.chippewaskiteam.com to learn more. Prospective members do not need any water skiing experience and is open to all ages. Personal flotation devi

ces and enthusiasm are all that is needed to join. The spring, summer and early fall are full of skiing for singles and families who want to learn or improve their skills. Hour long shows are provided all summer long, 7 PM at Emerald Lake 3196 Clark Mill Road, Norton, Ohio and are free to the public. Practices occur in the evenings and on weekends. There is a Show team which competes, and a Developmental team for younger and newer skiers. The Developmental team also produces two shows a year. The winter provides a great time to get acquainted with the Team, and learn the basics of show skiing during regularly scheduled indoor practices. There is something for everyone: strength, speed and beauty are all part of this sport. Consequently, there are many types of water skiing: slalom, barefoot, doubles, swivel, ballet, wakeboard, jumps, hydrofoil, tricks and show skis. Come find out more!

Are you feeling a little lost today without a ski show tonight? We are too. We miss your smiling faces and your supportive cheers!

Let's all get together again over mums. That's right - we're back again for our annual Mum Fest shows in Barberton! See the flyer here and check out one of our 5️⃣ shows over that weekend.

Each of the shows will be set to a different musical genre, so you'll get something a little bit new every time! It's a blast for the whole family and we can't wait to see you there.

While our Wednesday shows will be over this week, come on out to our home lake at Chippewa Lake to see our annual Labor Day weekend show. This is a special show where we highlight all of the tremendous work that the developmental team puts in throughout the Summer. Their growth and dedication to the sport is not only obvious, but also infectious. Come check it out and think if this could be YOU for Summer 2025.

We'll see you at the Chippewa Lake beach on Saturday the 31st for a 10am show. Parking is limited, so arrive early for a good spot - bring a chair or blanket and get ready for a very special show!
