Recently, I put on a show for the Friendship Home Donut Social to celebrate Mother's Day playing 3 of my original tunes including "Photograph", "London" and "Trees" while playing other tunes from my repertoire including "Where the Streets Have No Name", "Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of", "Come Monday", "Walk of Life", "Forever Young", "Upside Down", "With a Little Help From My Friends", "Beautiful Boy", "Brown-Eyed Girl", "Free Fallin'", "Satellite", "Octopus' Garden", "Here Comes the Sun", "Layla", "Daughters" and "Kokomo" among others. A friend of mine named Adrian Sadler acted as my 'band aid' for the event.

Today was my most recent Valentine's Day piano gig. I played everything from "Fly Me to the Moon" to "Beyond the Sea" to "Can't Help Falling in Love" to "When You Wish Upon a Star", not to mention a new song I learned how to play: "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole.

Today I had a real blast performing most of my favorite holiday songs at two locations in one day. Those two concerts were held with the help of my roadies at the Lucky Finn cafes across Norwell and Scituate, so that was a really good way to add some musical fulfillment for the morning and afternoon. Some well-known songs I did during those performances included "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas", "Hark the Herald Angels Sing", "Run Run Rudolph", "Sleigh Ride", "Frosty the Snowman", "Silent Night", "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen", "Let It Snow", "White Christmas", "Winter Wonderland", "Jingle Bell Rock" and a new personal favorite of mine, "Dominick the Donkey".

Last week (on Tuesday November 7th to be exact), I put on a show for the senior citizens inside Willcutt Commons of Cohasset or (as my Launch friends like to call it) the Council on Aging. I did my very best to entertain the people with some of my favorite good old-fashioned tunes including "Piano Man", "Take Me Home Country Roads", "A Pirate Looks at Forty", "She Thinks I Still Care", "Rambling Rose", "That's Amore", "Oh Darling" and "Everybody Loves Somebody". But then, to surprise everyone, I gave them all some holiday classics including "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch", "Winter Wonderland", "Someday at Christmas" and even "Silent Night".

Yesterday was a fun-filled Donut Social inside the Friendship Home and everybody who did a staycation or came to visit joined in the morning merriment. Kimm Ball was the one who sponsored this event and made it all possible and during that little concert, I played some songs to entertain the mingling adults and kids. Some of these songs included "Upside Down", "The Road", "Carolina in My Mind", "Bad", "Beauty and the Beast", "Satellite", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight", "Mermaid", "A Whole New World", "Daughters", "Highway 20 Ride" and of course, one of my originals, "Trees".

04/08/2023

Newsflash: I have plenty of time to practice because my next gig is going to be a donut social from 9 am to 11 am on Saturday, May 13th. It'll be similar to the Cardinal Cushing Marketplace's ice cream socials I had done but it'll be exciting nonetheless!

Reminder: My next official open mic night gig at the Tinker’s Son in Norwell be this coming Tuesday (January 31, that is). On a side note, those Tinker’s Son open mic events used to be run by Bill Downes, now they’re taken care of by the new manager, Scott Kaufman. Last time I did open mic was great because I had a good time entertaining the crowd with tunes like “Ripple” and “Far Away Eyes”. For the next one, I think you might wait and see by the time it’s done.

I gotta tell you: Last night was a night worth remembering. I partook in another awesome open mic event inside the Tinker's Son pub at Norwell, using the Kross keyboard, cable plug and stand for assemblage. I sure did entertain the crowd by performing big hits from my repertoire including Grateful Dead's Ripple', The Rolling Stones 'Far Away Eyes", Kenny Rogers' 'Through the Years" and of course, Zac Brown Band's 'Highway 20 Ride'. The new manager of the Tinker's Son open mic events is Scott Kaufer and he was delighted to have me signed up for it, so much so that I was excited to hear Scott and I should play together for the next one, even doing a Bruce Springsteen rendition.

One of the first times I've used my own BeatBuddy Mini Personal Drummer to play and record a new song that came to mind, one from the legendary Rolling Stones.

Here’s a U2 song that I have played on the keyboard as a way to welcome the new year. This special song is all about coming together and even though it’s the opposite, we are all reminded with such grace to help each other in every corner of the world, so much so that the band continues to perform this tune on many concert tours promoting their new albums. For me, this is one of my favorite U2 songs, one that shares quite the inspirational message, one that is right up there with “Pride (In the Name of Love” or “Beautiful Day” or “Where the Streets Have No Name” among others. In fact, I had this video premiered right at the start of the new year when there would be not only new adventures but also hopefully a new line of piano gigs being scheduled as time would go by. By the way, I have a new Christmas gift that I'd like to show you later on. You'll see.

Here’s to wishing you a Merry Christmas and a joyous holiday season! We hope that 2023 will be a great year as I look forward, knowing that I have what it takes to practice for and schedule even more concerts!

Words cannot describe how I’m still in the holiday spirit! Almost a week ago, I put on a show entertaining the audience with some of my favorite Christmas tunes on the keyboard at Elm Street in Cohasset, MA. Most of these tunes included “O Little Town of Bethlehem”, “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas”, “Feliz Navidad”, “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear”, “What Child is This”, “White Christmas”, “Sleigh Ride”, “The First Noel”, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”, “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch”, “Let It Snow”, “Silent Night”, “O Holy Night”, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”, “Winter Wonderland” and “The Little Drummer Boy”. I used the portable amp and mic and cables to make sure the sound would come out perfectly.

Nearly a week ago, I partook in one of the most exciting holiday piano gigs that piqued my Christmas spirit. This time, it was for the Arc of the South Shore. Not only did I don a Santa Claus hat as well as my Mickey Mouse light-up necklace, but I had the keyboard assembled in place in order for me to play some tunes like "Let It Snow", "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", "O Little Town of Bethlehem", "Jingle Bell Rock", "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas", "A Marshmallow World", "Silver Bells" and the inescapable "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch". I even took a sleigh ride with my mom while singing some parts of "Sleigh Ride" and "Winter Wonderland" afterwards.

12/09/2022

Reminder: My next holiday piano gig on Elm Street in Cohasset is just one week away! So I've plenty of time to prepare and practice with my never-ending holiday spirit!

11/22/2022

Reminder: In T-minus 12 more days, I will be guaranteed to put on a Christmas song-filled show for the Arc of the South Shore! So once again, that means I have all the time to practice for this jubilant and spectacular occasion.

11/02/2022

Reminder: In T-minus 15 more days, I will be returning to the Black Rock Country Club on Thursday, November 17th from 6 pm to 9 pm. So that means I have plenty of time to organize my setlist and to practice until that day comes.

Last month, during my most recent trip to Tennessee, I was one of those people to do Open Mic Night inside a musical venue called Fox & Locke. Like the other performers going there, I was allowed to perform 2 songs of my choice and luckily, I did the ones that I had been able to practice with the help of my supportive father. Why, I was also able to shine myself up casually for the occasion in new boots to add some country vibes.

Recently, I engaged in a rousing piano performance at the Cardinal Cushing Marketplace and it didn't disappoint, even on a hot day. With the help of my mom, we managed to make a sign in case of any welcome requests. I did some major requests like "Break Away", "Hey Soul Sister", "Ramblin' Man" and one of my favorites, "I Won't Last a Day Without You". Of course, I did some entertaining classics from my repertoire like "With a Little Help From My Friends", "Take Me Home Country Roads", "Ripple", "Satellite", "Mrs. Robinson", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight", "Under the Sea", even an instrumental version of "We Don't Talk About Bruno" (big surprise).

Recently, nearly a week ago on July 14th this year, I was invited to play a repertoire of songs on my keyboard under that green tent at the Black Rock Country Club pool. I was more than happy to have such an opportunity to perform for an amazing audience, even one of the staff members whose names are Shaun and Colleen. Some of the songs I played included Grateful Dead's Ripple, Zac Brown Band's Chicken Fried, U2's I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, James Taylor's You've Got a Friend, Kenny Chesney's Dust on the Bottle (as well as I'm Alive) and as a new addition to the repertoire, Guster's Satellite, just to name a couple.
