Just booked this bucket list trip! My clients will be spending 5 nights at the Springhill Suites Island Park Yellowstone and enjoying ALL of the sights within Yellowstone National Park. Then they will head to Jackson, Wyoming for two nights at The Lodge at Jackson Hole where they will explore Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park. Is this on your bucket list?
Cruise ship staterooms aren’t big. So when cruising with your family, you are trying to fit everyone into a small(ish) space.
On Disney Cruise Line, your room steward will transform your room while you’re out making memories during the day. Your sofa turns into a single bed, and if you need it, another bed is brought down from the ceiling (in certain stateroom categories). No need to lift a finger, your beds will be waiting for you when you return!

Starting July 24, Walt Disney World is updating its Genie+ service and Lightning Lane options to allow more pre-planning. Key changes include:
- **New Names**:
- Genie+ will be renamed to "Lightning Lane Multi Pass."
- Individual Lightning Lane will be renamed to "Lightning Lane Single Pass."
- **Enhanced Planning**:
- Guests can make Lightning Lane selections before their visit.
- Choices can be made for specific experiences and times in advance.
- Lightning Lane passes can be booked for multiple days in one go.
**How it works**:
- **Lightning Lane Multi Pass**:
- Allows up to 3 advance selections per park.
- Additional selections can be made on the day of the visit via the app.
- **Lightning Lane Single Pass**:
- Functions like the current system, but with the ability to plan ahead.
**Planning Windows**:
- Guests at Disney Resort hotels and select other hotels can plan 7 days in advance.
- All other guests can plan 3 days in advance.
The app will also be updated for easier and faster transactions, allowing combined purchases of Multi and Single Passes. These changes blend current features with the old FastPass+ system, aiming to simplify vacation planning.

I don’t like to play favorites, but…
If I had to choose my favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotel, I’d have to say Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
For one, you can’t beat the view. If you have a theme park view, you have a breathtaking view of the Magic Kingdom. If you have a lake view, you are greeted each morning by a sunrise over Bay Lake.
I also appreciate the nostalgia knowing that the hotel was open on Walt Disney World’s opening day in 1971. Did you know that Nixon’s famous “I am not a crook” speech was made here at the Contemporary?
My favorite part about this resort is not just that it is on the monorail loop, but the monorail actually goes THROUGH the hotel’s atrium. So when you get off the monorail at the end of a long day at the Magic Kingdom, you are already inside your hotel. You can’t say that at any other Disney resort hotel!

Next week when I am visiting the Disneyland Resort, I will be staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. This hotel is one of three on-site properties at Disneyland.
Staying onsite at Disneyland has its perks, much like staying onsite at the Walt Disney World Resort, such as early park entry. However, what is next-level about the convenience is that the Grand Californian has direct entrances to both Disney’s California Adventure park and the Downtown Disney District. No need to catch a bus or board the Skyliner!
This hotel also features character dining at Storytellers, a luxurious spa, gorgeous themed pools and so much more. I plan to show you all of these perks and amenities so make sure to follow along!
