Just released from the OKI PD. ✨

We are excited to be just over 2 weeks away from ⛱𝑩𝑬𝑨𝑪𝑯 𝑫𝑨𝒀⛱, now celebrating the Town’s 25th Anniversary!

As usual, the day will end in our biggest and best ✨𝑭𝑰𝑹𝑬𝑾𝑶𝑹𝑲𝑺 𝑫𝑰𝑺𝑷𝑳𝑨𝒀✨from the OKI Pier - so please help us start spreading the word NOW about these important Post-Firework Traffic Reminders:

🌉 𝑼𝑺𝑬 𝑩𝑶𝑻𝑯 𝑩𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑮𝑬𝑺: even if you are returning to our neighboring Southport, using the Swains Cut Bridge and double lanes of E.F. Middleton Blvd can actually make for a faster Island exit!

🗺 𝑺𝑻𝑨𝒀 𝑶𝑵 𝑶𝑨𝑲 𝑰𝑺𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑫 𝑫𝑹𝑰𝑽𝑬: trying to make "shortcuts" out of Beach Dr., Yacht Dr., or Ocean Dr. only slows everything down when you eventually have to merge back into traffic later.

📵 𝑨𝑽𝑶𝑰𝑫 𝑫𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑨𝑪𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵𝑺: keep traffic moving and pay attention to the road ahead! Let someone else handle posting all of those "amazing-and-totally-not-like-everyone-else's" fireworks pics.

💲 𝑷𝑨𝑰𝑫 𝑷𝑨𝑹𝑲𝑰𝑵𝑮 will 𝐍𝐎𝐓 be charged during this event

🚗 𝑨𝑳𝑳 𝑷𝑨𝑹𝑲𝑰𝑵𝑮 is “first come, first served” - so no “reserving” or holding public spaces please!

🚓 𝑶𝑭𝑭𝑰𝑪𝑬𝑹𝑺 will be at all intersections to help keep the flow of traffic moving, so please stay alert and follow their directions.

If we all pay attention, have a little patience, and use a little kindness, we can all get home in a safe & swift fashion!

Over the last 24 weeks since opening the doors to our Oak Island vacation rental, we've hosted over 34 times (between Airbnb, VRBO, & direct booking)! 🤯

Maintaining a 5 Star Review across the board has been a labor of love for me. I can't help but be emotionally invested in this little beach cottage... I guess that shows just by reading the heartfelt notes we've been left in our guest book and online reviews.

"We had an amazing week at Hannah's cozy house in Oak Island. From the moment we arrived until checkout, everything was perfect. The beach is a quick golf cart ride away & there's a beach pantry & restaurants within close distance. Hannah is an amazing host & was quick to respond to my questions. The shower is amazing & the interior of the house is decorated so cute! This is a gem of a place in Oak Island and we will def plan to stay here again!"
