What an amazing day out on the water with Captain Andy! It was great from the start with beautiful marina to the gorgeous waterways. We highly recommend booking a tour! He took so much time showing us all around the island, intercoastal, and fishing for some Spanish Mackerel. Here's the link to his website!

It's sea turtle nesting and hatching season on the island until October. The Oak Island Sea Turtle Protection Program volunteers have been working hard to give them best chance possible to make it to the sea. We're so grateful to them for all that they do!! 💕

Absolutely in LOVE with our custom beach sign made by K+W recycled art in Oak Island! 😍 She put so much time and care into making our vision a reality. The cardinals signify my late Mom and Stepdad that meant the world to us, so we wanted them to be a part of our little slice of paradise. This couldn't have come at a better time being that it's Mother's Day weekend and I'm missing my Mom like crazy! ❤️

If you've never gotten up early to watch the sunrise, put it on your list. It's an absolutely beautiful thing to witness. Oak Island is a southern facing beach so you can see the sunrise and sunset all on the same stretch of beach. 🌄 & 🌅
