Looks like so much fun!

On September 9, 2023, from 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM, the Town of Oak Island will host its first-ever Sunset On Summer Music Festival. This NEW one-day festival will provide the transition between the Town's “Summer Fun” and “Fall Festivities” - and everyone is invited!

Since this will be one of the largest events ever held at the Middleton Park Complex, an Event Guide Map has been provided to help ensure festival attendees can make the most of their visit. Simply click on the map at the bottom of this notice to view or print your own copy!

One new section to make note of is the Fireworks Staging Area ... That's right! FIREWORKS!!!

At the end of the day's activities, a special fireworks show will be held just behind the Middleton Park Amphitheater, giving everyone in the concert grounds a perfect view!

In addition to the fireworks show, Sunset on Summer will also feature multiple bands and activities throughout the entire day, including:

The Band of Oz (Beach Music legends) from Noon - 2:00 PM
Landslide (Fleetwood Mac tribute) from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
20 Ride (Zac Brown Band tribute) from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.. a Kids Area • Live DJ • Food Trucks • Craft Beer • Wine • Spirits on Site.
Parking will NOT be charged for this event, and special Handicapped Parking with shuttle service will be available!

Souvenir T-shirts and merchandise will be available for purchase, and all A.L.E. permitting and regulations will be enforced.
