We had a few obstacles but overall, we had a great season! 2023 was our third-highest number of nests on record! We have had record-breaking years two years in a row! This season we were #1 on the leaderboard on seaturtle.org, and we were third in NC for the number of nests per beach...Cape Hatteras and Cape Lookout beat us! We are so very blessed to be able to help protect and care for the sea turtles that visit our beautiful island! Thank you to those of you who care and continue supporting our efforts! You are Appreciated!

Definitely recommend when you are in OKI!

Congrats to Old Bridge Diner on Oak Island! They were recently named by Yelp as the best diner in North Carolina in the list "Best Diner in Every State, According to Yelp." Very impressive! 🥑🍳
