A big and heartfelt congratulations to Jasmin Paris, the first ever female finisher in the history of the Barkley Marathon!
As neighbors of Frozen Head State Park this race is near and dear to our hearts, and we are grateful for the opportunities we’ve had to host racers and their families in years past.
Congrats to the record five finishers this year and all who competed in the 2024 Barkley—it was truly a year for the books! 🚬
➡️ A brutal five-loop 100-mile test, featuring as much elevation as climbing Mount Everest twice.
➡️ Only 20 have ever made it to the end within the allotted 60 hours.
➡️ The mum of two - a vet and research scientist - finished in 59:58:21.
