Brown Recluse Zine Distro was created to support + center zines written by q***r and trans people of color; BRZD was born was born in the spirit of visibility + in the spirit of celebrating our cultures. Brown Recluse exists to strengthen our ties + highlight our intersectional, relatable experiences. Collective members + volunteers read submissions, print zines, run social media, send

out orders, write descriptions, update our online catalog / shop, table events around the country, answer emails, hustle money, redistributes $$$ directly to QTBIPOC in need, and deal with all the day to day operations.

The event is 😷 mask required 😷 and accessible by escalator and elevator. There are multi stall gender neutral ADA bathrooms in the venue.

FROM WELL TO HELL
The 3rd in the FROM/TO zine series. Illustrated touchpoint about healing as truly nonlinear, with illustrated fire font filled trauma reflection + attempts at acceptance for the messy long haul.

FROM HELL TO HELlP
The 4th in the FROM/TO zine series/ Illustrated touchpoint about finding personhood in the hellish context I’ve found myself, with death, grief, and decompistion in the forefront.

FREE PRINTING FOR BLACK ZINEMAKERS

We are partnering with Seiche Press to offer another round of Free Printing for Black Zinemakers!

We are accepting 75 submissions to be printed and sending free copies to Zinemakers and a chance to be distributed by us.

If you have a zine in the works we will begin accepting *print ready* PDFs and physical flats online and through the mail to be printed by Seiche Press.

Submissions will be open until we reach 75 print ready submissions.

We will open the form and announce on May 1st though social media and our newsletter.

This is made possible by and the and from generous donations from supporters of our fundraising campaign late last year.

We are still taking donations via the donate button on our website.

It explores the history and evolution of Le***an gendered language and terminology, with an emphasis on the histories of Black Le***an Genders specifically. thanks for coming by & supporting us at recent events: bay area Ⓐ bookfair && at the Liyang Network zine release ! we will be ~on hiatus~ from in-person tabling, other than Portland Zine Symposium the end of October 👻
We have been grateful to table our catalog and lots of free zines at outdoor&/mask-required spaces, to uplift & center those sick & disabled in our collective & community!
